Chapter 8: Fire and Ice

In the moring Sollux came in the room and wake me up.

"Morning, (Y/N)"

"Morning." I wispered.

We both went to the room he slept in and sat on the bed.

"Sollux? Can I tell you something?"

"Yea."

"Well. I know you don't need to know this but. I don't know, Karkat he. Well he kissed me."

"Oh, what do you want me to th'ay?"

"I don't know, I just need to tell someone."

He sits next to me and pulled an arm on my shoulders and hugged me.

I couldn't help but blush. What's wrong with me why do I feel this way. He pulls away and looks at my face, he can see I'm a red as a tomato.

And smiles at me.

He leaned in close to my face.

*knock knock*

I looked at the door to see KarKat. And he looked at Sollux.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!?" He yelled

"Nothing that concerns you." Sollux awensered standing up and walked to Karkat.

They looked at each other with such hate, like Fire trying to melt the Ice and the Ice trying to put out the fire.

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO THOUCH HER SHE'S MY GI-" Karkat paused.

I stood up and looked at them both

"I'm your what Karkat? Tell me."

"FUCK JOHN AND WHAT HE SAID I CAN'T LET HIM TAKE YOU AWAY FROM ME. (Y/N), before you went into the coma we...WE WERE DATING!"

I froze. I didn't know what to say.

"th'he doesn't remember! And anyway'th you had your chance and you blew it along time ago!" Sollux said

"What did he do? Sollux this is my birthday wish question for you, tell me!"
He looked at me.

"No. I won't do that to the one I love to live the wor'th't night of her life. . .Again"

"One I love?" I asked

He walked out of the room. Leaving the house not looking back.

Me and Karkat just stood there.

"Karkat. . .Please tell me what happened."

"I. . . Its my fault I should have saved you. This is all my fault. I'm sorry."

"I don't believe that, not one bit. Please tell me."

"Someone. . .someone was after you. We don't know who but they set your house on fire. I tried to save you but the flaims were out of control. I just stood there watching it burn. Sollux came rushing to your house and didn't think twice about what he was doing. He ran in and pulled you out, you wouldn't wake up the smoke from the fire almost killed you. But it just sufficated you and you slept for almost two months. he saved you when I couldn't. Sollux has hated me ever sence I let that happen to you." He started to cry.

I don't blame Karkat for what happened and I don't think I ever will. I hug him not letting him go. I looked him in the eyes.

"Why. Why would you hug someone who is so weak."

"Because your not weak."

I leand in and kissed Karkat and he kissed me back.

I dought I'll understand whats happening with me, and what happened in the past. But I'll find away to remember for Karkat and Sollux both.
