Chapter 11: Survive The Day?

*KARKAT'S POINT OF VIEW*

I was sitting in the library alone, thinking about (Y/N). I couldn't get my mind off of her, Why did I write a note? I should have just asked her face-to-face. I sighed, I should have been suck a ass this morning about taking her to the office, I was hoping me acting that way would make her hate me so she can be happy with Sollux. As I was scolding myself for being the fuckass I was, I heard (Y/N)'s voice. I looked up and saw her talking to that bitch of a librarian. She looked up and saw me, I looked down at the table. (Y/N) Walked over o the table and sat down next to me.

After a thousand years for silents, She takes my hand. I felt a jult in my body and my heart pounded.

"Karkat, I. . . I would love to go on a date with you, just promise me one thing."

"Anything you want." I say with a smile, she said yes. It made me as happy as the last time she said yes to going out with me, but this time it was only a date. Fuck

"Promise your not hiding anything else from me, that I should know."  But thats just it, I am keeping something from you, I can't tell you again or you might die this time instead of getting hurt. I toke a beep breath, I killed me but I had to lie to her. . . Again.

"I swear, I'm not hiding anything that you should know." Because you shouldn't know, it's for your own good.

"So where were you planing on taking me, anyway?" (Y/N) Asked.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. FUCK. FUCKK! I didn't think that far, I didn't even think she would say yes. I was taking a shot in the dark. like last time.

"I don't want to spoil the surprise." I didn't know what to say, I'll need Strider for this one. The last thing I want to do it ask him for relationship advice.

She smiled at me, and went to get a book from off one of the shelf, All I wanted was to see her smile again. But now, it makes me feel so guilty.

*END OF KARKAT'S POV, YOU POINT OF VIEW~

I went to get a book to order out, I grabbed the first book to read. I didn't really care what book it was. After  a hour in the library the bell rang and Karkat and I went to lunch, I WAS STARVING. I couldn't eat at home because John's dad kept baking cakes, and I didn't have time to eat here at school. We grabbed our trays and sat and a long square table in the back of the cafeteria.

I sat in the middle, Karkat sat to my right, John and Dave sat in font of us. Jade sat to my left then Rose, And Kanaya. 

Me and Karkat shared a tray, of (A/F). Jade was eating some kind of pie, Rose and Kanaya were whispering at each other. All I could hear we "She has to know." Then again it also sound like "Sheep look like snow."

"Great!. . . .Just great, The lunch lady gave me cake. . . AGAIN, pretty sure she's just doing it to be mean!" John said laying the slice of cake in the middle of the table. "Anyone can have it, free for all." Dave shock his head and grabbed the cake, and started to eat it.

I felt as if someone was staring at me, so I turned around to see Vriska. Sitting at a table alone just looking at me like she could kill me. Not like it wouldn't make since she did say I wasn't supposed to be here. I turned around, and tried to ignore her, but I could feel her eyes on me. I was kind of scared.

"You okay?" Karkat asked. I nodded and fake a smile. I don't see the point in telling him, not like he could do anything about her.

Lunch finally ended we only had three classes left, I couldn't wait to get this day over with. We went to throw away our trash, And started walking to class. I was hoping I would see Sollux and talk to him. But he wasn't at lunch. The bell rang and I wasn't in class, I got separated from Karkat in the hallway IT'S LIKE FUCKING TRAFFIC. When I finally made it to my locker I was late five minutes, first tardy of the year on the first day. 

When I opened my locker a note fell out, I picked it up the paper, Unfolded it and read what it said.

Reads;

I looked around to see if anyone was near. I grabbed my backpack and stuffed my books inside, as I made my way to the roof I decided to take a short cut through the gym to get to the stair way faster. The gym was pitch black, I try to make my way by holding my phone out and letting it shine a light for me to see. My phone vibrated, I almost dropped it. I hated being in the dark as much as I hated lightning and thunders. I stopped walking to check my phone, I had a message. I opened the PesterChum APP. I couldn't tell who it was.

I hold my phone up to look around the gym, I didn't see anyone else there I toke a deep breath.

"Probably just a prank . . ." I whispered. While looking in all directions I dump into something and dropped my phone on the floor, at that moment someone pushes me and I hit my head on a pole and fall to the floor. I feel a sharp pain in my left arm, as if someone was stomping on it. nothing but pain corsed through my body, I was helpless. 

"HELP-!" I was cut of my a kick to the head. SOMEONE HELP MEE!!

"SOLLUX!! KARKAT!! PLEASE HELP MEE!!" I cried as loud as I could, I was getting dizzy. I started to get tired. and weak. The lights came on but I couldn't see anything, Everything was red and blurry. 

"I told you, you wouldn't survive. And no ones going to save you know!" I know that voice it's Vriska.

"Vri'th'ka! GET AWAY FROM (Y/N)!" I heard a familiar voice as I started to drift off. Sollux.

"YOU WANT A FIGHT YOU GOT ONE JUST LEAVE THE ONE WE LOVE ALONE!" Karkat.

I couldn't hear or see anything anymore I drifted off, into a deep sleep. . .Nothing but death drifted through my mind. A bright light came into view, and a small door, half my size. I open the tiny door and crawl inside nothing but a bright light shining in my eyes blinding me. Am I truly dead?
