Mad at You

I woke up in Daniel's arms feeling exactly how I used to.

But it can't last this long.

"Daniel get up" I say softly.
He shifted in his sleep.
"Come on" I say shaking him
He sat up, stretching his body eyes still closed.

"Fine" he says sighing while sitting up.

He pulled me between his legs giving me a back hug while putting his chin on my should.

"Daniel, what are you doing?" I asked while looking forward.

"I'm just hugging you, love" he says snuggling in my neck.

"Well can you stop" I said getting off the bed.

"I'm gonna shower then get dressed. After that I'll walk you home" I said trying to make little to no eye contact.

"While in the shower I was thinking about Daniel and I."

What if we did get back together.
What if I still love him
What if-
"Ashley, are you okay in there!!?" Yelled Daniel
I rolled my eyes turning off the water and wrapping myself in a towel.
Once I was dry, I fixed my hair.
"Ok let's go" I said walking past him to the door.
"Let's go then" he says following me.

We walked in silence under the warm sun. Neither of us wanted to start a conversation.
"Hey, are you hungry?" He asked stopping in front of In N Out.
"I guess"
I said shrugging while going in.

After the food, we headed to the house.
