It's Too Late

Chapter 3

The throbbing of my head woke me up. I am never drinking again. My eyes slowly open with much needed help and I let out a yawn.
I look at the room and I froze, I saw flashes of what happened last night and Sapphire made sure to show my oh so passionate night with my mate. Joy overtook me as I rush to the mirror and there it was, my mark that my mate gave me, that Kevin gave me. The mark is two dots from his canines and above is an exact replica of his paw.
Then it hit me, I am mated to the Alpha! My body is shaking with nerves, but I felt so happy. I found my mate. Just like Thea said I would and I couldn't wait to start my life with him.

I didn't know where my mate was, so I just roamed in his bedroom. It was quite spacious with colours of black and white with a hint of navy blue.
Someone stormed in the room and I come face to face with Kevin. A smile made a way to my face, but it fell when I saw his face. It looked like he was angry. Why? "Is everything alright Kevin?" His eyes shifted between his and his wolf's. He walks over to me, he cups my cheek making me blush. "What's your name?"
"Anastasia West." It came out as a whisper. He mated me but never asked my name, when I tried to he only shut me up with kisses.
I didn't like the look on his face and I became worried. Did I do something wrong?
"I Kevin Lockmore, reject you, Anastasia West as my mate and Luna of the Lockmore pack."
Pain, shock, sadness, that's all I felt when my body fell to the floor.
"I never wanted you."He snarled at me.  "I was discusted by everything. My wolf took control and mated you. I don't want you and never will. Someone like you could never be a Luna to me or my pack..I expect you to be out of this room when I am done with my shower!" Sapphire howled in pain, I couldn't breathe, my body feels numb with pain that feels like it is flowing in my veins. 'Saph, help us get out of here, please.' With all of the strength we could muster we stood up, dressed in my dress and left. People gave me wierd glances, but none attempt to help me. Some pack we have.

"Oh my gosh, kids go upstairs now!" I heard Mrs Thea say.
How did I even get home? I don't remember. My vision was getting worse, sweat covered my whole body and I still feel like I couldn't breathe. "Oh sweety, let me help you." Her voice was muffled to me, I could make out her figure and she swings my arm around her so she could support me. "CiCi?" Lilly? I want to see Lilly! "Lilly sweety, go to your room please!"
No don't take Lilly away! "N.. Noo." My voice could bearly be heard, but I knew she heard it. "I'll bring her when you look better, now let us get you to your room. The doctor is on his way." She helped me to my room, Mrs Thea told all the kids to stay in their rooms so that they would not be scared or worried about me.
When I finally reached my room I fell on the bed and everything just became black.

"Is there anything we can do?" I hear voices, but my eyes don't want to wake up. "Thea, everyone of us knows what happens in a situation like this." Situation like what? "Please there must be something?" Mrs Thea's voice sounded desperate. Why? I felt myself slipping away again, away from all the pain.

"CiCi, you have to wake up. I'm leaving tomorrow. I wanna have ice-cream with you before I go CiCi." I felt her small hand holding mine. "Mrs Thea says you're sick, you'll get better. I promise." I feel her small lips kissing my cheek. Oh Lilly.

"I'm giving her vitamins through the set to help her with her strength. She's very weak, you should prepare yourself for the worse." Prepare for what? I hear crying. Why is Mrs Thea crying?

"Hey CiCi, you have to wake up." She's crying, I don't want her crying. 'Sapphire please we have to wake up!' "CiCi?" Her voice held so much hope. "Mrs Thea I think she is waking up!" I felt energy surging through me, 'I'll try my best Stacey.' I feel more and more energy through me and the first thing I saw was cute blue eyes staring at me. "Lilly Dilly." She smiled and instantly hugged me. My body was still in pain, but I kept it away from Lilly. "Oh my Anastasia, you're awake!"
"You look horrible Mrs Thea, what happened?" She gives a tight smile to me. I knew she wanted to know what happened. "Hey Lilly, let me get dressed and we will go for that ice-cream I promised you." She runs out of the room, no doubt to get dressed. "Sweety, what happened." A knot formed in my stomach. I felt tears forming,my hand reached my neck feeling the puncture wounds and swelling. "We'll talk about it after Lilly is gone, right now I need to be happy so that she will know that everything is fine." She couldn't argue with it. "Very well, we'll talk when Lilly is gone."
"Thank you, now I have to shower I really don't smell that good."

I took Lilly out for ice-cream, we went to the park, watch movies and now we were up on a hill.
"CiCi, I'm scared." Her soft voice whisper to me.
"Why?"
We sat in silence for a while, staring at the sunset. It's her favorite place to be, on this hill, looking at the sunset. "What if they don't like me anymore and send me away?" I could see Lilly was really happy about her soon to be new life and parents. "I don't think it's possible for anyone to not like you. They'll love you I am sure of it." and I send a silent prayer to the moon goddess that they will. "Hey and you can always call and talk to me you know." I tickle her sides and she giggles.
"You think so?" She looks deep in taught so we just sit in silence again, savoring each other while we see the sun set. Knowing that tomorrow, we won't be seeing the sunset together anymore.
