𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𖦹 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘹

chap. 3 𖦹 the other side of paradise

(y/n) sat on the couch in the living room of her flat, body underneath a fuzzy blanket. she scrolled through her instagram feed mindlessly. she had nothing going on at the moment, so instagram was her source of entertainment.

she spent a lot longer than she would like to admit scrolling through her feed, liking friends and celebrities pictures. (y/n) decided it was time for a small break from the internet. she kicked the blanket off of her, getting up from her comfortable place on the couch.

the female connected her phone to the bluetooth speaker she had in her living room, putting her music on shuffle.

(y/n) began to dance sillily around her apartment, letting her body move around to the beat of the music.

"bye bye, baby blues!" she began to sing, in her kitchen now. she grabbed a ladle, using that as a microphone. "i wish you could see the wicked truth!"

(y/n) slid around the tile on her socks, laughing as she belted her little heart out along to the lyrics.

towards the the end of her little dance session, her phone had a notification come through the speaker. she skipped over to her phone, tucking her (h/c) hair behind her ear. her hair had become a mess due to her sporadic dance moves.

it was a tinder notification. she laughed a bit, sitting back on the couch.

the message was someone named alex, and apparently alex was pretty close. her cheeks became a rose color. she was blushing and she had not even opened it.

you look good in those jeans, but they would look better on my floor ;)

(y/n) laughed at the message, shaking her head a little. she typed back something that she thought was witty.

hardy har. how many times has that one worked?

she wanted to give him the same energy back. show the boy that she could be funny and she could make jokes back. (y/n) put her phone back down, waiting for the male to respond now. which she hoped was soon.
