Cho Seungyoun
"Well look at what the cat dragged in." The voice was straining to be heard above the loud crowd inside the bustling bar.
Seungyoun raised his eyebrows while walking further into the establishment away from the door. An amused smirk made its way to his face once he locked eyes with the young woman who remarked on his arrival.
"Yeji, a pleasure as always. Still working here I see." He haphazardly eyes her just-short of revealing outfit and dramatic makeup giving her an intense look. It was one of those bars that preferred their waitresses tend the bar and dance around as to attract more customers. Seungyoun wasn't sure how she got mixed up with a place like this but didn't mind her presence anyhow.
"For now. The night's still young," she only half jokes, "between you, Hangyul, and Wooseok I don't know who's gonna get me fired first." Her tone was serious but there was a glint of playfulness in her eyes.
"Yet you still love us."
"Mmm, I wouldn't say that."
Their acquaintanceship came to be through a mutual friend; Wooseok. And although they only saw each other once in a while it has been enough time to establish their favorite pastime of sarcastic banter. The two actually enjoy the interactions they have but would never admit it.
Seungyoun moves to the side once a few people try to pass by towards the bar. "Speaking of Hangyul, have you seen him around? I'm supposed to be meeting everyone here." He looked around trying to find the group himself with no luck before turning back to the young woman.
Yeji busied herself with some dirty dishes on a nearby table. "They're in the back. Try not to cause a scene. I know that's difficult for you." With that she left to the kitchen.
"Fine," he muttered under his breath.
In the back, the first thing Seungyoun could see is a girl standing on a chair while the two other guys laughed at her animatedly. A grin came to his face watching his friends be the complete goofs they are.
"Yena, you're going to get us kicked out!" One guy exclaimed to the girl. She just laughs hysterically, squatting down. The other guy laughs along with her.
"Okay, who gave her alcohol?" Seungyoun jokingly asks while approaching their table. The two guys greet him but the girl is still lost in her own world. Yena staring up at the ceiling. "Seriously. How much has she had to drink?"
Yohan, the responsible one, answers as if speaking to a superior. Sitting up straight with the utmost respect.
"Only one vodka soda."
All he was missing was the 'sir' at the end.
The two were friends but the younger had always felt the need to be mindful of the elder's knowledge and experiences. Deeming him worthy of formalities.
Seungyoun brushes the tone off to the side opting for a more relaxed approach, patting Yohan on the shoulder.
"What do you expect when you're a tiny little thing like her," Hangyul, the other guy, points to her with his thumb. He turns to see Yena's flustered state. "So much alcohol for such a small girl," he playfully coos.
Yena snaps her head up.
"Excuse me dumb bitch, you're only thirteen centimeters taller than me.... so shut the fuck up."
The three guys fall into a fit of laughter. They knew how their friend got once she had a couple drinks in her. The mouth of a sailor. But they wouldn't have it any other way.
