Fight of our lives

The three of us just sat at the campsite as the fighting was going on and before we knew it Riley showed up. Jacob was phased and hidden until the perfect time to attack.
Edward kept me behind him as he fought him. Victoria came out of nowhere and I went to go help Edward fight but before I knew it I felt a fur wall blocking my way.
It was Jacob he stood tall in front of my as Victoria was almost ripping Edward's head off.
"No!" I shouted. I pushed Jacob and lunged myself onto her and started to tear of her head. I ripped her head off. Jacob was practically eating Riley and Edward started a fire for there bodies. 
We sped down to where everyone else was and saw as they defeated the army it was finally over. "Leah don't!" Edward yelled but it was two late.
A newborn grabbed onto her. Sam pushed her out of the way resulting in him getting his bones crushed. "No!" I yelled and lunged at the newborn ripping it's head off.
"The Volturi is coming!" Alice yelled.
Carlisle was by Sam's head already, assessing the damage done to him and how he could try and fix it. Edward was there as well, trying to do what he could.
"All the bones on his right side are shattered." Carlisle muttered, his eyes still focusing on the damage caused. I went to Sam's side and grabbed his hand.
"Zoe" Sam's shaky voice managed to squeeze out, his eyes locking onto my dark ones.
"Sammy I'm so sorry." I said as tears threatened to spill. But in my mind I just keep hearing that this is all my fault.
The rest of the pack had transformed back to their human form, all coming around the boulder in a desperate run. "Sam! I had it!" Leah spat.
"Leah enough!" Jake spat back. He was by my side in a second, he grabbed my other hand reassuringly.
"I need to reset his bones before the accelerated healing kicks in. It's already starting." Carlisle said.
"We need to get him out of here, we're not going to win a fight with the Volturi." Jake replied stepping up as temporary alpha.
Carlisle looked Jake and said, "I'll be there as soon as I can." The whole pack lifted Sam and started walking back to the Rez.
"I'm going with them." I said walking towards Jake.
"Zoe."Edward warned.
"You have to stay here the Volturi are going to get suspicious if you aren't here with us." Edward told me and I nodded walking toward Emmett as he wrapped his huge arms around me.
"He's going to be okay. We'll get you there as soon as possible." Emmett said as he kissed my head. I just nodded not trusting my voice.
"They're coming!" Alice said urgently.
Only four members that emerged from the woods; Jane, Alec, Demetri and Felix. They all shrugged off their hoods and stared at the fire blaring beside us, tons of dismembered body parts sticking out from the golden flames.
"Impressive." Jane spoke up, referencing the battle that they had just conveniently missed.
"I've never seen a coven escape an assault of this magnitude intact", Jane continued. "We were lucky," Carlisle replied.
There was a great pause before Alec let out a delighted chuckle. "It seems we missed an entertaining fight." Alec said and I rolled my eyes.
Jane's delicate features pulled down so that her face looked indifferent. "Yes, it isn't often that we are rendered unnecessary."
"If you'd arrived a half hour ago you would have fulfilled your purpose." Edward clapped back, speaking what went through my mind.
"Pity." Jane spoke without a smidgen of sorrow. Her face did elate with joy around a second later though, as she spotted something she liked the look of from behind the Cullen's main line of vampires.
"Looks like you missed one." Jane spoke. I turned to look at the same time, having not even realized that there was a very young looking vampire standing near Jasper.
The Cullen's was oddly protecting her and she didn't seem to be making a play at killing me. With her short stature and long, dark locks she looked as harmless as they come.
Every one of the Cullen's stiffened at the mention of the newborn. Carlisle was the first to speak up. "We offered her asylum in return for her surrender". He said.
"That wasn't yours to offer." Jane replied almost instantly, looking like she was excited about actually having a purpose here in this meadow.
Jane simply spoke to the extremely young looking newborn. "Why did you come?"
The blonde vampire didn't even give her a chance to answer the question before she was making pain erupt through every fiber of her body. The young girl screamed, dropping to the floor in pure agony as her whole body lit up in a fire that she desperately wanted put out.
I would of tried to save her if Sam's life wasn't in danger. He's hurt and it's all my fault.
