I sat hand and hand with Emmett as we listened to Jessica's amazingly written graduation speech.
"What did you want to be when you grew up?" Emmett whispered to me
"It doesn't matter because I got all I ever wanted within us." I replied and he smiled as he kissed my hand.
After the graduation we all went back to the Cullen's because Alice wanted to throw a party since it was Bella and I's first graduation. I was bored of the party so Emmett and I were just talking on the couch.
"What do you think about us getting married soon?" Emmett asked as I played with the ring that was on the chain around my neck.
"I-" Before I can reply I hear Bella speaking to Alice.
"Alice what'd you see?" Bella asked the vampire. I turn around completely oblivious that the three wolves following Emmett and I me as we walk toward Alice.
"The decisions been made." She says her voice shaky.
"What's going on?" Jacob says from behind me.
"We aren't going to Seattle?" I asked.
"No they're coming here." Alice confirms.
We all go into Carlisle's office to talk about the situation. They start to talk about the Army and how they only recognize one. Riley Beers.
"Okay hold up what damn army." Jake shouts making me mentally face palm.
"New Born, our kind." Carlisle explained.
"What are they after?" Embry asked and I glared at Alice and Edward hoping they wouldn't say it.
"They were passing around Zoe's scent." Alice explained.
"They're after Zoe what does this mean?" Jacob questioned.
"It means an ugly fight with lives lost." Carlisle said and it felt like daggers to my heart. I can't let people die protecting me.
Jacob looked toward the boys next to him and they nodded. "Alright we're in." Jacob said.
"Like hell you are." I said glaring at him. "I will not let anyone die protecting me." I yelled.
"I wasn't asking for permission." Jacob practically growled back.
"Carlisle please." I begged but he ignored me.
"Jacob do you think we can get Sam to agree." Carlisle asked.
"For Zoe he'd agree to anything." Jacob said and I sent him a glare. They set up training for the next day and they told me it was my job to convince Bella to leave town until the fights over.
