Unnatural Alliance

Bella and I are now at the Cullen's and there talking about who could of broken into our house. "A passerby wouldn't of left there father alive." Rosalie said and it felt like a dagger to my heart. I don't want Charlie getting dragged into this mess.
"Excuse me." I say walking out of the house with Emmett following me.
"Are you okay?" He asked grabbing my hand.
"I'm fine." I sighed.
"You don't have to lie to me." He said with a soft smile. I turned to him as my eyes grew glossy.
"If something were to happen to Bella or Charlie because of this supernatural circus I'm in I wouldn't be able to live with myself." I said as a single tear fell from my eyes.
"We can protect them." He said pulling me into one of his big bear hugs.
"I don't think we can alone." I said as we broke apart.
"What are you saying?" He asked.
"We need Sam and Jacob." I said and he sighed.
"Okay." he breathed out.

The next morning Jacob went to the house with Edward and Bella and I went to the Rez to tell Sam.
"Good Morning." I said walking into Emily's.
"Hey Zo want a muffin." Emily said bringing a plate of muffins to the table.
"I'm good thanks is Sam around?" I asked.
"Yeah he's around back." Emily replied.
"Sam." I called out as I walked around the house.
"Hey Zo."He said putting down a shovel. I push aside the dog joke I was going to make because this is serious.
"A unknown vampire was in my house Jake's there now checking it out I just wanted to let you know." I said and a worried look appeared on his face.
"Are Charlie and Bella okay?" He asked and I nodded. "Whoever it was walked right past Charlie." I informed him.
After speaking with Bella I was informed that the pack and the Cullen's would be working together. While the Cullen's hunted the wolves would watch our house. It wasn't exactly an easy alliance but we made due.
