I was in the town of Lincoln County New Mexico getting ready to come back to Sweet Water I walked by the store on my way to the pony express station to get a new horse and go home when I saw it on the wall a wanted poster of my friend Billy the Kid I knew that he was an outlaw but I didn't care about that all. and this wasn't right either but who would listen to a half blood orphaned pony express rider anyway ? I knew that Billy had just signed on as the newest rider to the pony express and he isn't much older than I am. and the pony express is his second chance at a new life but with wanted posters of going around town won't him at all. and when Billy would talk about Pat Garrett there is a look of sadness in his bright blue eyes and there is some sadness in his voice because he and Pat once was best friends until Pat betrayed him and started hunting him. I couldn't let anything happen to Billy so I took the wanted poster down off the wall and folded it up and put in my pocket so I can show it to Sam Cain the sheriff of Sweet Water Sam is a fair man and maybe he can help Billy. I know that Teaspoon will help Billy and like Emma says we are not orphans not while she is around. so Billy has a great chance for a new life. maybe he will let me burn this awful wanted poster of him. I hope because he doesn't deserve this. and I am close to him just like I am with Ike the three of are brothers of the pony express and if Jimmy thinks that my nightmares are he hasn't nothing yet because Billy's nightmares are much worse than mine are. and Billy and Chavez are brothers too.
