If there was one thing michael could absolutely not be less concerned about than he already was, it was undoubtedly Mark's words. No kind of insult from the other guy would ever really touch him.

What upset him, though, wasn't mark.
The problem came when, finding himself in the company of luke in an empty class as was often the case at half-time, the blonde could not feel comfortable. And when he took the moro, he noticed the constant glances he sent in the direction of the closed door. "Are you keeping tabs on the door to decide when to run away from me?" joked Luke.

Michael shook his head in response. "Excuse me, I'm just overweight," he said only, mentally marking to stop looking at the door. Luke immediately noticed Michael's feeling of uneasiness that morning, but it was only then that he found absolute certainty. "Did something happen?" he asked quietly, knowing that Michael would not open up so easily with him. But he wanted to try, to be closer to him.

His expression seemed to say without a doubt that something had shaken him. Michael, faced with the question, wondered if it was not time to recount the encounter with Mark the night before.

"Yesterday I met Mark," he said at the end. Luke bent his head to the side surprised "really?" and asked in a curious tone. But when Michael did not with his head, his expression became darker. "No, we never actually spoke to each other," he replied sincerely, "but for some reason he knew me, it looked like he was just looking for me," Michael continued in a quiet tone of voice as he stole gummy bears that the moor was eating.

"Did you talk?" asked Luke, trying not to leak how tense it was, and Michael nodded softly. A little uncertain at first, the blonde began to tell the other boy what had happened the night before, repeating the words Mark had uttered towards him, and also described the tone of voice and the movements he made. He felt worse at every word he told, and certainly Luke's worried expression didn't help him at all. "Oh, I get it," Luke said, lowering his head.

Michael held his breath for a few seconds, "it seemed right to tell you," he replied only when he noticed the other's tremendously sorry eyes. "I mean, I don't think it's your fault at all, it's obvious. I... I'm just worried he might pop up any minute and make another scene like that. I really couldn't care less what he says, but I don't want you to have problems."

Luke nodded, partly impressed by how much attention the boy was paying towards him. "No, I understand you," he scoffed a smile "mark, well, he's always been like that since I've known him. Always so.... Jealous? I think that's the right word." he quickly looked out the window. "And I don't think you like him very much," he said carefully, fearful of hurting Michael.

I AM NOT SYMPATHETIC TO ANY, ECCETED YOU. He wanted to answer Michael, but he still stayed to listen to the other guy. He was partly frightened by luke's afflicted tone. that mark didn't make him happy?. "Is that okay with you?" he asked, always seeing luke as a guy who kept everything inside.

He wanted to be there for luke.

The moor remained silent for a while, almost confused by that question, seeking his gaze for an adequate answer. Then he took another gummy bear and shrugged his shoulders. "I think so?" a little nervous laugh came out , "you know, if he does that, it's because he cares about me, isn't he?"
