New Friend
"Don't hurt her p-please. S-s-she d-didn't do a-anything w-wrong!" Fourteen year old Daniel cried out to the strange man holding her tightly in hid arms. She had a massive piece of thick tape wrapped around the bottom half of her face. That's gonna be a bitch to take off, some of her hair is going to get ripped out. He stared at the boy like a lion about to pounce on its prey, carefully watching every move. He chuckled maliciously. The sound of the boy's whimpers and her muffled pleads amused him.
Fucking suffer you assholes. I don't give a shit.
"P-please! I'll do anything, just don't hurt her!" Daniel begged. Her cries and high pitched groans got louder. The man stalked towards the boy after roughly shoving her onto the dusty concrete ground.
"Shut the fuck up kid-" The man's large beefy hand raised over his shoulder and was about to swing right onto Daniel's face. He stood there paralyzed in fear.
It's fucking coming right at you!
"Fuck!" Daniel hissed as he jolted upwards in bed. He was drenched in a pool of his own sweat and felt like he was about to pass out. He tried to steady his breathing.
"Wasn't cool that you ditched me last night for some pussy, man"
Daniel realized that his friend Mello was in his bathroom, doing something to his face while concentrating at his reflection in the mirror.
"Was it the same dream agai-"
"What are you doing in my bathroom? Stop messing with my shit!"
"That girl who walked out? She was pretty hot. Mission accomplished bud." Mello said completely unfazed by the obvious hostility in Daniel's voice. He turned the knobs on the sink and began to rinse off the suds that were on his face.
"I get that you have whatever mental issue you have, but can you at least pretend to care about other people and how they feel? This is ridiculous." Daniel snapped.
"Ouch. You didn't have to go there Danny."
"Get. Out. Now." Daniel spat through gritted teeth.
After a couple of seconds, Mello dried his face off with Daniel's towel and sighed before walking out, shutting the door softly behind him.
Daniel started to regret what he said, but focused on trying to remember what happened last night. The Mello situation didn't bother him that much, that asshole didn't feel a thing anyways.
He hooked up with a girl... hmm.. her name. Started with a T.
Tabitha? No.
Tammy? It was right on the tip of his tongue.
"Hey! Before that Talia girl left she told me to thank you for her." Mello said behind the door. "Thanks." Daniel replied dismissively.
Talia. Last night's events quickly flooded into his mind. He actually enjoyed her company, way more than he initially expected. He felt safe talking to her. She was really funny once she had gotten comfortable with him. When was the last time that he laughed that much? Not to mention that she wasn't a lazy bum.
She was different. Maybe things would be different this time around.
He wanted to see her again.
"I usually come here every Thursday night to have a little drink. Its pretty much the only time that I have during the week for myself..."
