Chapter 3: Secret Crushes

Leo's pov

I was really happy DaJah got to live with us, it's kinda cool having a girl around, she's really cool.....and pretty, Ever since we first met, I always felt...different around her, kinda like a nervous feeling but in a good way, I never felt this way before, maybe I can ask April when she comes over later.
An hour passed and April came over, finally, "Hey April, can I ask you something?" I asked hoping she has time before she go hangs out with Donnie, "Yeah sure, what is it?" she replied, "Do you know what it means to feel nervous around someone? But nervous in a good way, I think." I spoke, "Nervous? Who are you nervous around?" she asked as she raised an eyebrow, I blushed as only one person came to mind, "Its DaJah, whenever she's around or near me, I get this nervous feeling in my stomach." I really hope she knew what I was feeling, "You have butterflies in your stomach, meaning you might have a crush on her." she replied, I blushed more at the thought, "I think I do...but, she doesn't know." I said, "Well, whenever you're ready you can tell her, I'm sure everything will be fine." April said, then she headed to Donnie's lab, leaving me all alone, "Hey Leo." DaJah walked passed smiling as she headed to the kitchen, I didn't say anything, I just smiled and waved, I never seen such a beautiful mutant, she has really long shiny brown hair and her eyes....her eyes are blue like mine but, more like a royal blue, which is a beautiful blue to me, I sat on the couch and decided to watch my favorite show, Space Heroes! Maybe that'll distract me from DaJah for a while, but what happened next surprised me, "Space Heroes! I love that show!" DaJah said happily as she sat next to me on the floor, I never knew she liked this show, "You like Space Heroes too?" I asked, "Yeah! One of my favorite shows!" her smile got bigger and her eyes sparkled as she watched the show, I look at her, seeing her so happy made me happy, "Captain Ryan's my favorite" she said, my heart started pounding, my love for her grew and grew, we have so much in common, "Mine too!" I replied with a smile, she looked at me and nodded before looking back at the tv.
After the show ended, I saw DaJah was looking kinda bored, "You okay?" I asked in a soft voice, "Yeah, I'm fine, just a little tired that's all." she replied, "Oh, if you want you can take a nap in my room." she still slept in my room, which I have no problem with, I enjoy her in my room actually, she's great company, I finally have someone to talk about Space Heroes with.

~Time Skip to later that night~

Leo's pov (short)

I had trouble sleeping that night, especially since DaJah was laying next to me, she looked like an angel while she slept, I wanted to cuddle her but I didn't wanna wake her, so I left her alone, pretty soon I found myself dozing off, so I went to bed hoping tomorrow will be better.

DaJah's pov

I woke up to Leo next to me, he looked cute while he was sleeping, I wanted to kiss his forehead but I just couldn't, even I though I have the biggest crush on him I just couldn't let him know, I always kept my feelings to myself, so anyway I got out of bed and heard towards the kitchen, I wasn't to see April here so early, "Oh hey April, what are you doing here so early?" I asked yawning, "Donnie called, he said he needs my help soon so I'm just gonna have a little snack before I go help him, so what's up with you?" she asked, "Nothing much except, I have a big crush on Leo..." I told her, she smiled, "Thats so cute" she said, I looked at her in confusion, "Whats cute?" I asked, she giggled "well, the other day, Leo told me he has a crush on you too, I think you two would be perfect for each other." she said happily, my eyes widen in surprise, I had no idea Leo had feelings for me, yet...I guess I can finally tell him, but only when I'm ready, I wanna see if he'll come out first.
Later that day we were all chilling in the living room, I was on my new phone April got me, Leo was watching tv, Raph was feeding Chompy, April and Donnie were in the lab, probably having some alone time with each other and Mikey was in his room, he was pretty quiet so we all assumed he was taking a nap, then we continued on with our day.
