The Trinity Steps out in......Wedding Dresses?

Long time best friends Caroline Hood, Casen Irwin, and Sierra Deaton were spotted out in downtown Los Angeles Saturday night wearing what appear to be the same wedding dresses they wore nearly ten years ago when they married their respective members of the band 5 Seconds of Summer.

Caroline wore the gold and silver sequined star Watters/Willoughby gown she wore for her elopement with Calum Hood. She wore her signature blonde hair in two loose braids and a daring golden glitter highlight adorned her cheeks.

Sierra wore the lace and satin mermaid custom Vera Wang gown she wore for her spring wedding to Luke Hemmings. Her dark hair cascaded down her back in the messy waves she's mastered and a bright red lipstick finished the look.

Casen wore her embroidered Jovani gown, the blue flowers only slightly faded by time. Noticeably missing from Casen's ensemble was her 7 carat sapphire ring and matching wedding band she began wearing after her husband, Ashton Irwin proposed to her in 2019.

They dined at the downtown LA Sugarfish, capturing the restaurant's attention in their couture gowns and later posed for pictures with fans on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where Caroline recently received a star.

The group did not stop for interviews, despite being approached multiple times, however, an inside source close to the women had this to say: "Casen received some heartbreaking news recently and she's not handling it well. Caroline has been staying at the Irwin house for about a week now, Sierra has been there more than home and there's no telling when they'll be returning to their own lives."

Ashton groaned and tossed the magazine down on the hardwood floor.

"Did you see the arti-?" Calum raised his eyebrow at the magazine haphazardly laying on the floor.

"Your wife is causing trouble."

"I'm pretty sure you caused that trouble, don't put it on Caroline." Bending down, he picked up the magazine from the floor, smiling at the close up of Caroline in her wedding gown.

"Why are you even in LA, I know you hate it here?"

"Because, dumbass, my wife is here cleaning up your mess and I don't like being away from her for that long." He paused. "Since we don't tour anymore I've gotten used to being around her."

"Gross, dude, act less whipped."

"Maybe you should've acted more whipped," Calum threw the insult at him, the sharp words landing somewhere in Ashton's chest.

"Hurtful."

"The truth hurts sometimes, Ashton. The truth is that you fucked up and now Luke and I get to suffer because of you." Calum scoffed. "We're not 23 anymore dude. You and Casen have three children to think about. This is bigger than just you."

"I think you should leave."

"You think I should leave this apartment? This apartment that you and Casen haven't paid rent in for 10 years? I don't think so. You're only staying here because you're my best friend. Don't push your luck."

"You're just being a dick because you miss your wife"

"Fuck yeah, I miss my wife. There's nothing wrong with that. Maybe you should try it sometime." Calum slammed the bedroom door behind him.

The wedding dress outing had indeed been Caroline's idea.

Of course, her original idea involved fire and wedding dresses, but Sierra, ever the practical balance to Caroline's impulsive nature, gently steered her in a less destructive direction.

Sierra ran home to get her dress out of the garment bag it had sat in since her wedding and Caroline called Calum to bring hers down when he flew to see her.

Casen's unzipping of her garment bag was bittersweet, the memories rushing at her at a million miles a minute.

Makeup was scattered all over her long blue bathroom counter, Caroline sitting in the middle of the getting ready carnage, trying to carefully put false lashes on. Sierra fluffed her hair in the mirror, arranging each lock of hair carefully. 80's pop played softly in the background of the strangely comforting scene in front of Casen, a scene that hadn't played out in nearly two years, their busy schedules and Caroline living so far away making girl's nights difficult.

"Case, your hair isnt done yet, c'mere." Caroline waved her over, jumping gracefully off the counter.

With Caroline fussing over her hair and Sierra singing softly while stepping into her own wedding gown, the world was okay for a moment.
