Chapter 10

The Pack was eating lunch around the dining table without their leader, of course, who was passed out from exhaustion that was still in his body.

Taehyung was abnormally quiet from the feelings running through his mind and body. He had to take a cold shower earlier because he didn't feel comfortable "helping" himself. Hoseok, unfortunately, had not had time to notice since he had spent the couple of hours before lunch with Jin and Namjoon discussing his duties for the day and though Namjoon promised Yoongi that he would be the one to speak to PD-nim, the Beta reconsidered and figured the message coming from an Alpha would be better. So, Hoseok was the one who had to call BigHit.

"Oh Sir?" Jin asked. "Yoongi usually helps us determine the chores for the week on days like this and also meals. Do you think we can spend a couple more hours figuring that out?" Hoseok thought to himself that he hoped it wouldn't take that long.

"Of course," Hoseok cheered. With a smile, he grabs a bite and feeds himself before glancing over at his Omega who has seemed to space out in his thoughts. The Alpha silently places his hands on the other's thigh, running circles into the other's tanned skin. "You okay, baby?"

Taehyung blinks to himself as he comes up from his thoughts, a smile automatically reaching his face.

"Yes Alpha. Just thinking." The Alpha was slightly irked by the vague answer, but lets it slide.

Jimin had been quiet all morning as well. Of course, this wasn't surprising to anyone. He had more of a reason. In fact, they would be surprised if he wasn't moping on a day like this. Jin reached his arm out to him, waiting until their eyes met.

"Sit in my lap, little bean," Jin requested. Himin could never pass up being coddled, not even on a good day. He slid his plate closer to Jin's before falling onto the Beta's lap. Jin reassuringly rubbed his hand up and down the Omega's arm. "Guess what?"

"What?" Jimin squeaked. Jin fed the young one a bite of his food.

"You get to spend the day with me and Namjoon! What do you want to do?" Jimin wanted to share in Jin's excitement, but the small smile on his face was forced.

"I don't really want to do anything."

I just want my Alpha...

Jimin sighed, using a lot of his energy to open his mouth again as Jin tried to feed him another bite. Jin glanced over at Namjoon worriedly.

Both of the Betas had stressed how they were worried IF Jungkook decided to come back. Out of everyone in the dorm, Namjoon was the one who knew of the Alpha's fear of mating the most. Yes, Jungkook was known to run away when things got tough, but the Beta didn't know if he was coming back this time. He just hoped if Jungkook decided to run away forever that he had the decency to try and break his tie to Jimin by rejecting him. It was then that Namjoon could handle the problem of getting Jimin to reject him as well.

Of course, this isn't reality yet. Right now, Namjoon's worry was getting Jimin to do anything other than lying in bed all day. Namjoon sets his silverware down and wipes his mouth with his napkin before looking at the mochi on Jin's lap.

"C'mon Jimin. How about we have that movie marathon we had been wanting to do, hm? We can have hot chocolate too," Namjoon suggested. He didn't want it to, but Jimin had to admit that the idea sounded appealing. The Omega simply nods, taking a bite of the bread in front of him willingly. Everyone smiled with a sigh of relief.

Jungkook and Lisa had just finished their lunch and now it was time for Jungkook to return to his dorm where his Pack was most likely waiting. Throughout their meal, the conversation consisted of Jungkook worryingly asking on how he should approach his mate to which Lisa had barely any words for and Lisa had asked an endless amount of questions about each member of his Pack. The dynamic of the Pack intrigued her.
