Chapter 12

Its now 4th period and im heading to chorus with avery and sara. Us 3 decided to take it because we can all sing well. nicoles at art along with claire and sophia.
This day is going pretty slow.
We walked in and took a seat. there wasnt much seats left so we were all seprated.
I sat next to one of the really popular guys in the school. nash dosent even talk to him. ive never either. hes actually attractive but i still love my shawn.
"Hi" he says smiling a me.
"Hello" i say smiling but also looking around due to the awkward situation.
"You look pretty im jake" he says smiling at me.
"Lauren" i tell him he nodds and smiles.
The wierd thing is why is he taking chorus?

"Okay class today i want everyone to duet with someone and sing a song" the teacher speaks on the little stage.

Avery and sara were already dueting.

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Wanna duet with me" it was ryan. i smiled and nodded we head over to a table.

"So what do you want to sing?" I ask him looking at some music papers

"Wanna do dont stop believen?" He asks holdin the paper. i nodd and we walked to the rehearsel room.

We choose our solos and it was me starting off.

I could feel his eyes on me. when my part was finished he started singing. his voice was crazy good

"your voice is bloody amazing" i tell him.

"Your is to"

"I didnt know you sing cause..." I say trailing off. he chuckled.

"Well thats a secret talent maybe... but everyone knows me as some big popular guy but really im just normal" he states i smile and we leave the room.

Avery and sara starred at us. and i glared at them.

Soon everyone was ready and we waiting to get called on.

Sara and avery went up singing a song ive never heard of but they were really good.

Then it was our turn.

We stepped on the stage and i can see girls scoffing at me because im with jake.

I started singing and he joined in. we got pretty into it.

when we were finished everyone clapped and i noticed people took pictures. alrighty then.

"You were good" jake says hugging me. i hugged him back then the bell rang.

I grabbed my bag. and turned around sara and avery were already gone heading to lunch.

"Going to lunch?" Jake asks walking next to me out of the class room.

"Yup but my friends ditched me" i say laughing.

"Im going to" he chuckles and we walk towards the cafiteria.

"You know your pretty cool" he says smiling at me.

"Your not bad either" i tell him nudging him a little.

We enter and lots of heads turned towards us.

Nash was sat at a table with a few of his friends and he was looking confused at the fact that i was enetrin with jake.

"I'll see you around" he says waving and sits with his friends.

"Laur what the heck was that?" Nash asks standing from the table.

"A person"i tell him letting some sarcasm get to me.

"You walked in with jake like " nash said doing movements with his arms.

"Were in chorus togther and sang a duet" i told nash shrugging. it wasnt a big deal.

"Trust me i know its all over" he says showing me on his phone.

"Well did you see any of my friends" i ask him checking my phone for texts.

"Yeah they walked by saying your name" he says giving me a look.

I roled my eyes.

"Its the first freakig day of school" i state running my fingers threw my hair.

"Just sit with us i guess" he says and his friends nodd.

"I'll find them first but thanks" i leave to find them at the table.

"Hey guys" i say walking up to them.

"So how was jake?" Avery asks.

"Good?" I anserw confused.

"You have shawn!" Nicole says raising her voice slightly.

I roll my eyes at them and walk back to nashs table throwing my bag down.

"Im guessing there pissed or something" ryan nashs friend says to me.

"Yeah whatever" i say laughing my anger off.

The bell rang. Lunch was actually ok nashs friends are actually pretty cool.

The bell rang notifying us that the first day if senior year is over.

"Hey laur need a ride home" ryan calls out walking with nash.

I nodd and walk over to them

We hopped into his car.

It was just a honda civic nothing big.

He dropped us off and we went inside. mom was at work.

I pulled out my phone eating some strawberrys.

Shawn: how was your first day? Xx
Lauren: okay...
Shawn: what happen are you okay????
Lauren: im good:) ill call you later and tell you im gonna do my home work ly
Shawn: okay bye baby

I sighed placing my phone down. we only had 2 more days till magcon orlando.

"Hey nash does anyone at school ever say hey your from magcon" i ask him out of the blue

"No?" He asks i shake my head.
