sensory overload chpt.1

This is my first time writing a fanfic so hope you all enjoy.

Today was a normal day. Peter woke up as usual in the Avengers tower to the sound of FRIDAY's voice.
“Good morning Peter”
He looked up at the ceiling out of habit and replied to the A.I“Morning Fri, what time is it?”
“It is currently 7:05 am, I suggest you start getting ready for school. Happy is also waiting for you outside the lobby.”
“Thanks Fri tell him I'll be out in 10 minutes.”
FRIDAY buzzed which Peter took as her telling Happy just that.

10 minutes later and Peter was bouncing out the lobby in his usual bubbly manner.“Hey Happy, how you doin'?”
Happy just rolled his eyes but smiled fondly at the teen.“Just get in the car, kid or you'll be late for school.”
Peter hopped in the back seat as usual and told Happy all about his morning with his Avenger family.

Once he arrived at Midtown tech Peter went in search of his best friends; Ned and MJ. He spotted them almost instantly so he walked over and did his signature handshake with Ned.

Now this is where it all started to change from normal.

The bell rang out and all of a sudden Peter was hit by an unbearable wave of pain. All he could do, to stop a scream of pain from escaping his lips, was grit his teeth with all his might. Ned noticed him tense up and questioned “Hey Peter, you alright? You look like you just saw a ghost.”
“W-what? Oh no I'm f-fine” Peter stuttered. He knew he was doing terrible at acting like he was fine but tried anyway.
MJ then piped in,“Yeah Peter, you're not fine. No matter how much you protest, I'm taking you to the school nurse.”
“No I'm fine really!”Peter still protested even though he knew that there was no way of winning an argument with Michelle Jones.

“Come on, let's go or I'll drag you there by your hair.”

Peter contemplated whether or not he should keep arguing but a pounding headache had formed so he decided it was best to just do as MJ said. “ughhhhhh........fine.”

MJ smiled triumphantly at his reply and started to walk off. Ned gave him one last supportive look as he headed to class and they went their separate ways.
