A/N: Hello everyone! New chapter. I know it's Sunday and not Friday, sorry about that, but my week was busy. So just a quick reminder, I may not be able to post every Friday but I will certainly do my best to post every week. If I don't post on Friday, I'll either post on Sunday or not at all for that week.

Anyways, I've had a couple of really amazing and wonderful Wattpad users make me covers for my book. I can't use all of them, of course, so I'll be attaching one cover per week and dedicating my chapter to them because they're all really great Wattpad users and you guys should definitely check them out :) This week I want to thank severous_ for creating the cover I'm attaching right now. severous_ made another cover too, which I'm considering as using as my official cover, so thanks so much! I really appreciate it.

ALSO: In this chapter there's a specific detail that you all have to look out for, because it's important and will be mentioned in the future :) See if you can find what I'm talking about ;)

Anyways, here's the next chapter. Don't forget to vote, comment, and enjoy! :)

Tessa's POV:

"Okay so tell me, how exactly did you figure out how to work the ferris wheel? I'm pretty sure it didn't come with an instruction manual when you found it," I asked Jake as we got off our seats. Jake headed to the switch box and shut down the wheel, and all of its lights turned off with a loud boom. I looked a little longingly at the ferris wheel, wanting to be at the top of it again and look down at the city with Jake, but that moment had long since passed, and from the indifferent look on Jake's face, I knew that whatever had happened between the two of us in that moment was no longer there.

"Mechanic, remember?" Jake grinned at me. "I can build cars, so I can turn on ferris wheels. Took me a while to figure the system out, but I got it running after a few tries." He closed the switch box and started to walk away from the wheel. "C'mon Pookie, the night's not over yet."

I quickly headed by his side and walked by him, leaving the ferris wheel behind us. Jake didn't offer his hand this time and hid his hands in his pockets. "Where are we going?"

Jake nodded over to the direction that we were heading towards. "To the boy's shed. It's still there just a couple minutes away from here."

"What was his name?" I suddenly wondered aloud. "In the story the girl's name is Penelope, but you never told me the boy's name."

Jake shrugged. "I don't know. Never found out that part of the story."

I shook my head in dismay. "That's just wrong. He created something so beautiful, and no one even knows his name? How is that even possible?"

"We could give him a name," Jake suggested as we continued to tread upon the green grass that carpeted the hill. It was hard to walk this late at night -- the sky had gotten so dark it was almost impossible to see our surroundings. For a moment I considered reaching for Jake's hand so that I didn't feel as if I was hopelessly wandering in the middle of nowhere, but I decided against it.  "We can call him... Billie Joe."

"Billie Joe?!" I exclaimed with a small gasp, feeling offended. "He deserves a better name than Billie Joe."

"Woah Pookie bear," Jake laughed. "What do you have against Billie Joes?"

I scrunched up my nose a little in frustration, glaring at Jake even though he probably couldn't see my expression in the darkness. "Nothing, I'm just saying that I'm pretty sure that the boy in the story wasn't a country singer who wore a red cowboy hat and carried an accordion with him everywhere he went."
