Chapter Five: Midnight Memories

I froze like a deer in headlights. No matter how hard I tried, my legs wouldn't move. He started at me. Wide eyed. Shocked. We both were speechless. A lump made of pure embarrassment formed in my throat.
"I'm an idiot. A fucking idiot." I thought.
I opened my mouth to beg Harry for forgiveness, but not a sound came out.
After at least another minute of pure silence, sound finally escaped me.
"Harry I- it's not what it- I had too much to dri-"
Before I could finish my embarrassing ramble, Harry grabbed my hand and pulled me onto his lap. His beautiful eyes were wide, scanning my face.
We both were filled with confusion.
We didn't know why we were suddenly filled with so much need for each other. What we did know though, is that we didn't want to stop.
His hands began experimentally exploring my body.
Caressing my back. He pulled me closer until our foreheads were touching.
He smiled.
His smile. Oh his smile. It was a ray of sunshine. It was a light at the end of the tunnel. Harry's smile gave me purpose. Harry's smile gave me happiness. Harry's smile made me feel warm and fuzzy.
His smile, was perfect.
He let out a chuckle.
"You. Y/N, are beautiful." He whispered before pulling in into a kiss.
His lips were warm and welcoming.
His lips were soft.
His lips were love.
His lips were lust.
His lips, were perfect.
Our mouths danced and danced for what seemed like forever. Neither one of us wanted it to stop.
He eventually, lightly pulled away.
We both stared at each other, contemplating if we wanted to take it to the next level.
We wanted to.
Yet we didn't. For some strange reason, this was different. Our feelings were so much more than a one night, drunken fuck.
We decided to wait.
Wait until the right moment.
I smiled sweetly as he hugged me.
I shut my eyes and happily fell asleep on Harry's warm chest.
