The two got to know Felix some more a bit after that, Harley having called him their 'savior', and in a way, it was true. Apparently their new friend went to the same school as them, and was a Junior as well. It surprised Yovu in all honesty, he looked younger than he was. Once they talked with the blonde for a while, he began to open up and show his friendly side, most likely because if Harley or Yovu had any intention of harming him, they would've done it already. Yovu stood, fiddling with the scarf around his shoulders anxiously. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." He said plainly, gesturing to the men's room entrance behind him. Harley gave him a small nod, shifting his gaze back to Felix with a smile. "I just became friends with him a week or two ago." He pointed out as soon as the brunette left the area. The blonde scratched the side of his face, giving the boy in front of him a curious expression, "Oh? I thought you two had known each other for way longer." He replied, seeming to trail off as he spoke. "B-But that was just assuming!" He added quickly after, holding his hands up defensively as if Harley was going to tell him off. The black hair on the boy's head was messy and knotted after having dried, way messier than Yovu's or Felix' seemed to be. Despite looking intimidating, he was actually quite social. Harley noticed a pattern in the types of friends he had, actually, Yovu seemed shy and timid when in truth, he merely didn't care, Felix acts as if he's constantly doing something wrong when instead, he's decently social, just as Harley is. The boy thought to himself, wondering why he always tends to attract such people. Not even a moment later, he concluded it was because he was similar to them in a way, always seeming the opposite of what he actually turns out to be. With a small subconscious nod, he looked to the side, observing the downpour that had invited itself to stay. It had already been about half an hour, so the three would most definitely get in trouble once they got back. Felix and Harley continued their chat as they awaited for the brunette to return.
Yovu sat in the bathroom, holding his head in his hands shakily. He didn't expect it to rain, at the worst timing too. Now all his clothes were soaking wet and the only outfit he could wear didn't even have sleeves. He shook his head, taking a deep breath and looking ahead, staring at the stall door with a blank expression. He didn't want to keep them waiting, despite not caring much about the new person's opinion, it was Harley he was truly worried about. He knew that his friend would question him if he stayed where he was any longer, so he stood and brushed himself off, deciding that he'd rather not have to answer such queries... Especially in this state.
As he walked back out into the store, he stopped for a moment, once again, simply taking in his surroundings before continuing. Harley waved to him as he approached, a smile on his face. Harley knew something was up, but he would rather not ask him anything around Felix.
The rain hit against the windows softly, the sky darkening with every drop. It really was going to storm... The three could only hope the school canceled the rest of the day due to the weather. Yovu sat back down, quickly glancing to Harley to see if there was any hint of concern in his expression, though he found none. He once again took a deep breathe, then leaned forward on the table, letting out a diminutive sigh as he did so. This time it was Harley who shot a quick glance to his friend, the concern slowly re-emerging on his face.
Yovu rested his head in one hand, pressing his palm against his cheek lightly. He looked over Felix, eventually taking a breathe and asking, "So what now, are we going to do something or just sit here until we wither away to nothing?" The brunette questioned in a sarcastic tone, tapping his cheek with his forefinger as he looked to the blonde with a raised brow. Harley made a small chortle, looking out the window briefly before taking a quick look at the rest of his surroundings. "There's not really anywhere else to go." He finally answered, forgetting how nervous they made Felix for a bit as he raised his voice to respond appropriately to his friend's comment. "I-... I can get umbrellas for the two of you if you want." The blonde eventually offered, gesturing to the back room they were just in a moment ago. Harley smiled, both him and Yovu looking to each other simultaneously. "Man, you really have everything here, don't you." Yovu pointed out, scratching the back of his head before standing. He was sure to be careful of the tile on the ground, the chairs didn't seem to have any protective pads under them, so they'd definitely scratch up the floors... He took note of this, hoping to get the chance to tell Felix about it later. Even he didn't know why he noticed these things, but it was helpful nonetheless. The boy quickly stood, hurrying into the back room to get the umbrellas for them. This time, he seemed more excited than scared, which was good. Most people think of Harley to be intimidating and antisocial when they first meet him, and Yovu the exact opposite, but it's the other way around in truth. I suppose it just gives meaning to the phrase, "Don't judge a book by its cover" despite the many trends and overused motivational books that happened to ruin it. Think of it what you will, but I'd say it still has a meaning to it even after things like that.
