As Kory sits down in a chair over looking some fields in the early hours of the morning the wind whistling by and the chair creaking back and forth. just then the door starts to open and a little girl runs out and climbs onto Kory's lap. "hey there pumpkin, what are you doing up so early?" the little girl just shrugs as she looks out at the fields as well. after a little while the sun starts to come up and Jane's can be heard ringing through out the house. "did you not tell your mom where you where?" the little girl shakes her head. "s..she was asleep so I didn't say anything" Kory shakes his head picking the little girl up and walking back into the house. "JANE, Elizabeth was with me" Jane runs down the stairs. know looking a bit older Jane sighs as she sees Kory and Elizabeth. "Elizabeth don't do that again" walking over to the two of them hugging them both. Elizabeth hugs Jane as Kory goes to get ready for the day. "HEY JANE WHAT DO YOU WANNA DO TODAY!!" Jane walks into the room and and sits on the bed. "well how about you teach Elizabeth how to shoot a gun?" Kory nods as he finishes putting on his shirt and grabs his hat. as he steps out of the house he finds Elizabeth sitting on the stairs. "hey there Lisa, go a head and get your stuff on and I'll teach you how to shoot a gun" Elizabeth in a flash leaps up the stairs.

Kory know waiting out side check through the window and sees Elizabeth running through the house. When Lisa goes through door and runs to the field she looks at the gun that Kory grabbed. "Ooo give" Lisa goes for the gun and Kory lifts up and grabs Lisa's shirt. "No Lisa you can't do that" Kory lets go of Lisa's shirt. "Fine...........so how do I fire this gun" Kory hands over a hunting rifle. "this is a small caliber rifle it doesn't pack much of a punch but it's more usable" Elizabeth grabs the rifle and looks it over. "How come I can't use a lever action rifle like mommy" Kory has a smile on his face and kneels down. "well when you get older you can use the lever action rifle that Mommy uses" Elizabeth nods and looks down the sights of the rifle. "Okay so you see that hay bail aim at that and shoot it" Elizabeth pulls the trigger hitting the hay bail. "Good job Lisa lets go see where it hit" when the they reach the Hay Bail Kory notices some blood coming out from behind it. "SHIT...LISA GO GET MOMMY!!!" Elizabeth stunned turns around and starts for the house calling for Jane. Kory turns the corner of the hay bail finding a Wolf and her pup laying there, the pup nuzzling it's mother as the mother is laying there trying to stay alive from the bullet lodged inside of her side. Kory know moving slowly forward tries to move the mother over so he can find the wound. The mother know to tired to fight back gives a slight snarl but does nothing else but move slightly. "It's okay let me check the wound and I'll see what I can do" the wolf obliges and moves a bit more allowing Kory to see it. "Oh my that's not good" after a bit at looking over the wound Jane comes rushing over to him. "oh god Kory.....uh lets get these wolves inside before anything else happens, Kory you get the mother I'll get the pup" Kory grabs the mother as she tries to snip at him. "Okay Jane we got to hurry before she looses to much blood" Jane picks up the pup and the mother bites Kory's arm. "AH....SON OF A-" Before Kory can finish Jane gives Kory a menacing look before walking back to the house. "ah hell...It'll be okay little one" Kory pets the mothers head and starts to walk back to the house Kory's hand still in the jaws of the wolf.

As Kory enters the house theirs a blanket on the table and Jane is grabbing all the medical supplies they own after a small time later Jane is wrapping the wolf in a blanket. "God Dammit......" Jane sits down leaning against one of the cabinets with her face in her hands. "Hey it's okay Jane" Kory walks over to the Jane and sits next to her. "It'll be okay Jane you knew from the beginning that the mother wasn't going to live long even if you where able to patch her up" Jane punches Kory's arm. "Oh shut up you ass" Kory hugs Jane as Jane mimics. "I know but it'll be okay Jane" Jane looks over at the pup who is nudging the know red stained blanket. "oh god what about the pup" Lisa runs into the room screeching to halt in front of them. "Can we keep it pleeeaaassee" Kory and Jane look at each other with a smile. "Fine.....but you must take care of it, it's your responsibility's" they both say in unease. Jane shakes her head in excitement as she turns her head towards the pup. "Welp i'll be back soon I love you both" Kissing Jane on the cheek he stands up and grabs the mother wolf walking out side to grab a shovel and find a resting spot.
