Quantez

Me:I got some plans for us tonight at 9 and I got a baby sitter.
Monae:Okay where are we going?
Me:It's a surprise.
Monae:What should I wear?
Me:Wear whatever you wanna wear. Anything will be fine.
Monae:Okay, I'll see you at 9.
Me:See you.

We hung up. Tonight is gonna be perfect. I think she'll like it, I hope she does.

Monae

The bell just rung. I wonder what he'll say about my hair. My wig is red but I don't know if I ever wore red around him.

I went and answered it with my phone in my hand. I looked down at my phone and acted like I was doing something. "Umm, is Monae here?", Quantez asked. I do not look that different. I looked up biting the inside of my lip and saw him looking at the address. "Right address.", he said lowly before looking back at me. His mouth dropped. "Woah.", he said after a minute. I smiled. "You look beautiful.", he said grabbing my hand and spinning me around.

"Thank you.", I said smiling. "Baby sitter?", I asked.

"Angel."

"She's here?" He turned around and waved his hand. Angel and Brandy got out of the car. I smiled and ran to them and hugged them. I just seen Brandy but I haven't seen Angel in a minute.

"I love the hair.", Angel said. I smiled.

"Yeah you look really pretty.", Brandy said.

"Thank you guys.", I said. I grabbed their hands and we walked into the house talking.

We just made it to a beach house. There looks like something is set up on the beach. We drove further then got out the car and I saw rose petals and candles leading to a set up. There's a small band playing music. This is beautiful. "Come on.", Quantez said holding out his hand. I grabbed it and we walked over there. We sat down and I looked around.

"Quanny this is so beautiful.", I said looking around.

"Not as beautiful as you." I looked at him and smiled.

"How'd you do all of this?"

"I worked my magic.", he said. "You ready to eat?", he asked.

"Yeah, I am." He looked at the beach house and snapped his fingers. They aren't gonna hear him.

Right before I was about to tell him that sure enough somebody come out pushing a cart. Oh, salty much.

When she made it to us the lady put our plates down and took the tops off. My mouth started watering. Steak, shrimp, lobster tail, a loaded baked potato, and macaroni. The lady grabbed some glasses from under the cart and put them on the table. She poured water in two and Henny in the other two. Henny? Oh well. "Thank you.", we said.

"Have an amazing dinner.", she said before leaving.

"Henny?", I asked. He chuckled.

"I mean I know you like your dark liquor so.", he said. He's right.

"Smart man."

"Dig in." We started eating and I once I took a bite my eyes rolled to the back of my head. This is so good. He chuckled. "Good huh?"

"Yes, so good.", I said as he took a bite. He smiled.

We talked and ate and drunk and just enjoy ourselves. This is great.

I don't know how to say what I want to say to Monae. "Monae?", I asked as she laughed.
