The sirens filled the silence surrounding August as he watched them pull King out of the back of the ambulance, a medic sat on top of the Waywards abdomen, pressing his hands into Kings chest in attempts to resuscitate him. Concern was all August could feel, his thoughts interrupted as a black car pulls up and all seven of the other Waywards jump out, their eyes moving over to the bed being pushed into the hospital, April turning and running towards August who stumbles back slightly, raising his hands in defence "What did you do!" She shouts, her hand raising clenched in a fist "I didn't do anything! We was talking and about to walk home and someone came up and stabbed him like five times!" August shouts back, Oscar catching April's wrist "Anyway, he would've been at home had you all treated him like the incredible man he is! You treat him like crap!" August continues before turning and running into the hospital.

Wincing as I open my eyes I look around the hectic room, doctors, nurses and surgeons scurrying around the room "This is a wayward people! One of the elite eight! Mess this up and I'll have your asses!" One of them shouts, a girl with short reddish hair looking directly into my eyes "Hey... don't try to speak... you was stabbed multiple times, so we've put a ventilator in to help you breath... one of your lungs is collapsed..." she says softly, feeling my hands shake I look around the room at all the doctors and such looking directly at me now "We'll get you through this..." she smiles, nodding slightly before they all continue to work.

The loud sound of April pacing back and fourth by the doors to the surgical wing was echoing through the waiting room in which the rest of the Waywards and August sat silently. August's knee shaking in anticipation and worry for King. It had to be right after him and King we're finally connecting, how perfect... but King was right, the only one of the Waywards who seems to be genuinely scared and worried is April - Meredith looks sort of worried but the rest of them just sat and there, Oscar especially, flipping through a random magazine. It frustrated August and had it not been for the doors swinging open, August probably would've said something.

"He's stable - however he's in critical condition up in the ICU. You can see him when he wakes up." The surgeon says gently, the Waywards nodding in response, August exhaling a sigh of relief as he steps back and runs his hands through his hair "Thank... god..." he whispers.

"O-ouch..." I groan, opening my eyes I look down at the bandages wrapped around my chest "Damn..." I grumble, looking to my side at April who's holding my hand, her head lied on my forearm "April...?" I ask, watching as she looks up, she practically jumps up and wraps her arms around me, a strained grunt coming from my chest at the stinging of my wounds "Idiot, don't worry me like that again." She growls, sighing I hug her softly "I didn't mean to get stabbed. It's not like I planned it." I retaliate, earning a laugh from her as she sits back "Lucky that you was with August." She says as she looks over to the sleeping brunet who's curled up on the couch "I'm assuming the others are back at the apartment." I mumble "Wrong. We couldn't let you wake up without seeing our ugly mugs." Looking to the door at the six other Waywards stood smiling, Oscar holding a card "I know we have had our differences and often bicker but your still apart of our weird family. It's hard being compatible when your all different animals." He continues, nodding I try to push myself up "Sorry for throwing you through the door Oscar." I murmur, hearing him laugh he shakes his head "Don't be stupid, it's fights like that which bring us closer." He chuckles, smiling I nod.

Hearing August mumble, he yawns as he stretches, the Waywards standing up "We'll come see you tomorrow" Meredith says as she taps my hand, April hugs me, Cody Patting my shoulder "Don't crash King." Oscar says sternly before smiling and tapping my foot, turning and walking away with the others. Watching August turn to face me, He yawns and rubs his eye, a moment passing as he stares at me, processing everything. Laughing when his eyes shoot open and he jumps up and grabs my hand "Why didn't you wake me!?" He asks, shrugging I lean back into the bed, wincing at the slight pain on my wounds "You looked so peaceful, I couldn't disturb that." I mumble, hearing him sigh he shakes his head and rest his forehead against my forearm "You looked like you was going to die - i almost couldn't believe it." He grumbles, nodding I look down at my bandages "I thought I was going to die. I would've been fine if it was just three stab wounds but six. I didn't have enough power to heal like I usually do." I murmur, my chest rising and falling as he sits silently staring at my arm "A stormy ending to a perfect night." He murmurs, smiling as I look down at him "I'm alright. It's alright. Everything... is going to be alright." I breath.
