30 days

Day 1

"Okay, I'm ready." Harry muttered while he climbed into the waiting car. He buckled his seatbelt and looked around at the boys. His eyes lingered on Louis before he looked away.

Louis had his arms folded and he seemed really pissed off.
"Are you guys gonna tell us where the fuck we're going?"

Niall grinned at him.
"It's a surprise!"

"I fucking hate surprises." Louis muttered before he leaned his head against the window. Harry rolled his eyes.

They rode in silence for an hour before Liam cleared his voice to get everyone's attention.
"So, Harry and Louis, we want you two to listen to us now."

Harry and Louis sat up eyeing the boys. Zayn continued.
"You two fight nonstop and it's been going on for a long time."

Louis snorted and opened his mouth to respond but he quickly closed it again when Liam gave him a stern look.

"We had enough." Liam stated and both Louis and Harry rolled their eyes at the same time.

"We're not kidding. You need to start behaving around each other, outside the public eye." Zayn looked dead serious.

"We don't know what happened between the two of you. You used to be really close." Niall looked sad.

"Well, and then I found out he's an idiot." Harry answered with a smirk directed at Louis.

"Right back at you curly!" Louis growled.

"Yeah? Well..." Harry started but Liam cut him off.

"Stop it!" Liam shouted. He never lost his temper so Louis and Harry looked at him in surprise and stayed quiet.

"This is what we're gonna do. We rented a cabin in the middle of nowhere and the two of you are gonna live there for 30 days to sort your shit out." Niall explained with a grin.

Harry and Louis stared at him in disbelief. Their eyes almost bulged out of their sockets and their mouths hung open.

"What?" Louis finally screeched.

"No way!" Harry shouted.

"You can't just dump us in the middle of nowhere. I'm calling a cab first thing." Louis huffed in annoyance.

"You're doing this and you will work out a way to at least co-exist without arguing all the time." Liam said calmly.

Louis raised an eyebrow.
"Or else?" He challenged.

"Or else the three of us quit and that's the end of One Direction." Zayn answered.

"You can't be serious?" Harry asked in disbelief.

"Dead serious. We had enough." Zayn replied.

"That's fucking blackmailing!" Louis growled.

Harry rubbed his face in distress before he locked eyes with Louis.
"Fine. Louis?"

Louis hesitated for a second before he let out a "fine" as well.

Niall grinned.
"I'm glad we sorted that out. Now, I filled the cabin with everything you'll need. Once a week you'll have a food delivery. We'll pick you guys up after 30 days. Oh, look we're here!"

The driver drove up to a cozy-looking cabin and the boys stepped out of the car and looked around. There were trees all around and it was a really beautiful location. Deserted but beautiful. Liam walked to the trunk and pulled out Harry and Louis' bags and put them on the ground. Niall handed them one set of keys each and hugged them.
