They ate fast and went back to Niall's cards as soon as they had swallowed the last bite.
"He really worked hard on these." Harry pointed at the cards.

"He probably just googled something lame like 'relationship questions' and wrote the first things down." Louis chuckled.

Harry laughed.
"Nah, they seem too custom-made." He winked.

Louis snorted and blushed. Harry was right. "My turn?"

Harry nodded and took another sip of his drink.

Louis picked up another card.
"Do you trust each other?" He looked up at Harry.

"Yeah, I trust you, Louis. I know that you won't tell anybody about what we talked about today." Harry answered seriously.

Louis' stomach twisted. He felt kind of moved by Harry's words. Silly.
"I trust you too."

"Good." Harry smiled and reached for a new card.
"Talk about Wellington."

Harry furrowed his eyebrows.
"No."

"Come on! What did I do? Puke all over you?" Louis chuckled.

Harry swallowed the rest of his drink. He was getting drunk but not drunk enough to talk about that night.
"No, you didn't. What do you remember from that night?"

Louis looked like he was thinking really hard.
"It's mostly a blur. We drank a lot, I was waisted. We had fun. You and I were on our own after a while. I think we danced and like hugged?"

"Yeah." Harry confirmed and poured himself another drink.

"Well, that's nothing strange. Did I say something bad?" Louis had that vulnerable look on his face again.

"No. It wasn't bad at all." Harry mumbled.

"Please, just tell me!" Louis sounded desperate and Harry caved.

"Fine. You ehm, called me boyfriend and tried to kiss me but I remembered that we were in public and diverted it. Then we went back to the hotel after a while and we... made out." Harry said really fast and waited for Louis' reaction.

Louis stared at him with his mouth open.
"We did? That actually happened? I thought I dreamt that part."

Harry snorted.
"So you do remember!"

"No, I just had a blurry short memory of a kiss and I thought I made it up. I mean, that made more sense than that it had actually happened, you know?" Louis tried to explain.

"Right. Because kissing me would be so unthinkable and gross so you rather just convince yourself that it never happened? Don't worry, it will never happen again." Harry answered, sounding offended and pissed off at the same time.

"I never said that Harry. It's not gross or whatever. But yeah, why would we ever? That's stupid." Louis mumbled and finished his drink.

Harry glared at him and poured them new drinks.
"Right, now we have talked about Wellington. One drunken, stupid mistake. Thanks, Niall for bringing that up." Harry leaned back and dragged a hand through his hair.

"Well, I'm glad I finally know what happened." Louis stated.

"Good for you." Harry snorted sarcastically.

"Hey! Don't be so defensive! I don't want a drunken fight." Louis pleaded.

"But that's what we do Louis. We fight." Harry stated and rubbed his hands over his face.

"Well, I'm fucking tired of it. Aren't you?" Louis asked quietly.

"Yeah." Harry breathed out.

They sat in silence for a while, not knowing what to say. There were so many unspoken words between them but neither of them had the courage to address them.

"Fuck, I'm really drunk." Louis finally slurred.

Harry started to giggle.
"Me too."

"Let's dance!" Louis shouted amused and tried to stand up. "Put on some music Harold."

Harry got his phone out and found an upbeat song. They started to dance silly bringing both boys into a round of laughter. The song ended and the next one was a slow song. Louis smirked and put his arms around Harry's neck. Harry hesitated for a second before he snuck his arms around Louis' waist and they started to sway to the music. Louis pressed his face against Harry's collarbone and they came closer.
"What are we doing?" Harry mumbled, his lips brushing Louis' ear and he could feel Louis shiver.

"Dancing." Louis answered, his words muffled from Harry's hoodie.

Harry chuckled.
"Okay."

Louis started to run his fingers through the back of Harry's hair and Harry's hands found it's way under Louis's hoodie. He started to stroke the bottom of his spine. Louis's breath hitched and he pressed himself closer. Harry could feel that Louis wasn't unaffected by their closeness, neither was Harry. That was strange. Why would Louis get affected in that way? He broke loose.
"Dinner."

Louis stumbled from the sudden loss of contact.
"What?" He asked disoriented.

"We need to eat something. We are way too drunk." Harry explained.

Louis started to giggle.
"How are we supposed to cook in this state?

"I saw some frozen pizzas. That will do." Harry stumbled his way to the freezer and found the food.

He managed to turn the oven on and turned around to look at Louis with a smile. Louis was sitting on one of the chairs around the kitchen table with his head in his hands. Harry poured them two glasses of water and handed Louis one of them.
"Here, drink this."

Louis drank the whole glass of water in silence. Harry put the pizzas in the oven before he drank his water. This whole 'let's get drunk' wasn't one of his brightest ideas. Or maybe it was? He hadn't had this kind of honest conversation with Louis in years. He had to thank Niall later.

The pizza drenched up some of the alcohol and they felt better after dinner. They were still drunk but not obnoxiously drunk. They spent the rest of the night laughing, talking, and dancing, but no more slow dances.

They stumbled into bed and Louis cuddled up to Harry. Harry tensed at first but relaxed soon and fell asleep without questioning it. He had gotten used to sleeping close to Louis.
