next day at school
this morning when me and alexia arrived at school we went to go and find christina and gabbie so i could introduce them to alexia
once we found them i introduced them to each other and just as i expected we all instantly clicked, almost as if we've all been a group of friends for years
right now though it's lunch and we are sat eating our food
i'm next to christina and on the other side of the table is alexia and gabbie
we were having a conversation about the new biology teacher when i saw zach walk into the canteen with jack and i zoned out from the conversation and didn't realise i was staring until christina tapped me on the arm
"you like zach herron?" she asked me and i nodded "yeah"
"awh that's cute, you should make a move" she suggested and i thought of the fact that he might still have a girlfriend but pushed it to the back of my mind
"he probably doesn't like me back" i said and poked my pasta with my fork before picking a piece of it up and eating it
"you never know" she said with a smile "what's that meant to mean?" i said with a small laugh at the end
"well the last time he had a crush on a girl no one guessed anything because he hid it so well" she said and i noticed that gabbie and alexia were now listening to our conversations "how do you know he liked her then?" i asked with curiosity
"well he told jonah marais and then jonah went and told everyone" she explained "who's jonah marais?" i said and frowned in confusion
"jonah marais was zach's best friend until the end of freshman year but then his family moved to minnesota" gabbie said
"oh right, but even if he is 'hiding it' isn't he dating kay?" i asked
"he was" gabbie said "was?" i said in return wondering if i heard that right "yeah they broke up on monday, didn't you hear about it?" christina said
"no but this is the best thing i've heard all week!" i said and we all started laughing
"oh jas your man candy is approaching" gabbie said and i looked to see zach and jack walking in our direction
"they're probably just finding a table" i said, they sat on the table behind us and i realised i was right
