i heard a knock on my door and knew it was zach

the one person i never thought would be knocking on my door

i opened the door and saw his smile and so i automatically smiled back "hey" he said "hi come in" i said back and he stepped towards me before he stepped inside me gently gave me a hug before saying "thanks for inviting me over"

my whole body felt numb, almost as if i was in some type of euphoria

i snapped myself out of it and led zach into the living room where me and christina had been sat

zach said hi to christina and then once i sat down he also sat down noticeably close to me

we got some snacks from the kitchen and put on a movie

zach was next to me very close still and christina's words keep going round my head when she said 'make a move' and i couldn't decide whether i should or not

i'm gonna take a risk and make a move, what's the worst that can happen? okay a lot can happen but let's ignore that

i gently laid my head on zach's shoulder and carried on watching the movie, that's when something i wasn't expecting happened, he put his arm around me.

we laid in this position for a while. i looked over at christina and she smiled widely at me

suddenly i felt zach's arm pulling me closer to him so i moved closer

we ended up in a position where i was laying my head on his chest and had my legs over his and he had both of his arms around me

christina went home about 10 minutes ago so now it's just me and zach, we are about 5 minutes from the end of the film

once the end titles begin to play i went to sit up to grab the tv remote but zach pulled me back again "stay" he simply said and i looked up at him, he gave me a gentle smile

"but the film ended" i said "can't we still cuddle?" he asked with the cutest expression on his face that i just couldn't say no to

"yes we can but can i get up and get the tv remote, i'll come back i promise"

"okay" zach replied, i stood up and walked across the room to where the tv remote was and picked it up

i started walking back over to zach and also picked my phone up off the table

me and zach returned to our previous position only we were a little closer, if that was even possible.

i turned the movie off and just put on some music because hey who doesn't like music

i turned my phone off aeroplane mode and saw a lot of messages come through

"wow your popular" zach said with a small laugh "oh it just a group chat i think"

i started to read through the chats i had missed

basically after christina left me and zach carried on watching the film in the same position as in that picture and then once it finished i tried to get up to change to something else on tv but zach pulled me back and said he wanted to cuddle so i grabbed the tv remote and then we cuddled again but we were closer together, so basically i'm on top of him and we are still in that position now

in fact i think he's reading what i'm typing over my shoulder tbh 😬
