Liar

I broke my promises when I told you I don’t love him anymore,

But I can still feel that excitement whenever he is near.

I lied when I told you that I don’t even want to see him,

But I can’t help to stare at his angst and manly figure.

I lied when I told you I don’t want him back into my life,

But I can’t simply forget what we had behind.

I lied when I told you all that I wanted is to move one,

But I cannot replace him easily with anyone,

Not even you,

And I can’t see myself being with another man but him.

I lied while we were in bed convincing you how much I love you,

But to the core,

I just can’t move the heck on from his memories,

And to just find another one,

Because I will never deny that he’s still the one.
