Of course, it's him. Eli had ignored all the signs in hope that Norton was any good despite all the sketchy moves that he had pulled. He had never been so wrong.
Before Eli could react and protest, Norton's arms had already snaked around him and pulled him to the taller male, pressing their body against each other.
"What's wrong?" Norton continued to whisper in his ear in a low, guttural voice. "You seem scared. It's not like I'm going to hurt you. I promised Naib that I wouldn't let anyone hurt you, didn't I?"
Eli was in shock, a lump in his throat keeping him from speaking. His heart pounded loudly in his chest from an inexplicable fear. He wanted to struggle, but he felt powerless like his knees were going to give out under him any second.
Norton tightened his arms around Eli's waist and rested his head on the diviner's shoulder. "I like you, Eli Clark," he breathed. "I want you. All of you."
The prospector's words snapped Eli out of his initial shock. He began to struggle free from Norton, trying to push him away; but the strong male wouldn't even budge.
"Come on..." Norton purred. "Stay with me. I saved your life from a giant squid. This is the least that you could do to thank me."
Eli froze, an audible gasp escaping from him. "Did you just call Lord Hastur a squid?" he asked, sounding as though he was the one who got insulted.
Detaining him like this was already bad; but insulting Hastur in front of his face was unacceptable.
Norton moved his hands to cup Eli's face. "Listen, listen. I'm sorry," he cooed, his expression soft. "I didn't mean to offend you or your god. I just want you to listen to me. Please..."
Dark eyes bored into blue ones. Despite having a friendly face, Norton's gaze was so intense that Eli couldn't look away. It's like he's being hypnotized.
"Eli...I want you to be mine, my beautiful, precious gem."
It's too late when Eli realized that he had missed his chance to escape. Norton forcefully turned him around and pushed him against a tree, pressing his weight on the seer to keep him from moving. Arms wound around Eli's waist tightly as if they didn't want to give him any chance to run away. It was followed by a wet tongue gliding across his nape, sending chills up his spine. Blood rushed to his face as fast as heat spread throughout his body, making him feel a little light-headed.
"N-Norton, what are you doing? Stop it!" Eli grabbed on to the arms around him, trying to pry them off of him.
The prospector ignored his protest and continued to nuzzle against the back of his neck, peppering butterfly kisses along the curve of his shoulder. The tickling sensation they brought made his knees buckle.
It's all wrong. He wasn't supposed to feel this way.
"Stop it..." Eli whimpered.
Norton wasn't stopping anytime soon. Eli realized that when he felt the male's teeth along the side of his neck, threatening to add yet another mark. Much to his distress, the prospector began to nip on his skin.
"What if I don't?" Norton muttered.
For a moment, Eli stopped struggling and pondered his response to Norton's question; yet he came up with nothing. His only option was to convince Norton to let him go since he didn't have the physical strength to brawl his way out of that situation. He couldn't call out to Naib for help. That mercenary would wreak havoc. As much as possible, he didn't want anyone else to be involved in his problem. Eli only had himself to rely on.
