(Kirito POV)
Me and Asuna are going to the forest on the first floor for a rare item we heard about. It was supposed to be a gem that is in the shape if a rain drop that can heal anything. We walked through the forest, killing monsters on our way. We get deep into the forest and see a small pool of water that's glowing.
"You think the gem is in there?"Asuna asks, and I shrug.
"Lets go find out."I say and we walk over to the water. When we get there, we see that the water is glowing a light blue and that there is something in it.
"Whats that?"Asuna asks and we looks closer and see a girl in the water curled up. (Picture and no she does not have the animal in her hands).
"What the hell?"I say as we look at the girl.
"Whats she doing in there Kirito?"Asuna asks and I shake my head.
"I dont know..."I say as I'm looking at the girl. Then all of a sudden, the water started to glow brighter blinding us. When the light dimmed down the girl was standing on top of the water with ripples at her feet.
"Who are you?"Asuna asks and she looks at us. But that the water stops glowing and she walks away from us.
"W-Wait!"I say and we run after her. The girl turned her head and I saw that her eyes glowed a blue color, and she continued walking away from us. Step by step, her feet created a path of ripples as a light blue- green color orb surrounded her. Asuna and I followed her outside the cave where we noticed she had disappeared. That is, until we heard a leaves crunch and a twig break. I looked around us, only to see the girl, but this time, her eyes weren't glowing.
"W-who a-a-are you?" She asked, peeking from the side of the tree. I smiled. "I'm Kirito, and this is Asuna," I said, gesturing to Asuna. The girl slowly walked from behind the tree. I saw that she was wearing a sunset peach dress with a crossed neckline holding it up, long, light blonde hair down to her mid thighs, light, fair skin, and ocean blue eyes. She looked a little scared seeing us and was shaking a little bit.
"Who are you?"Asuna asks the girl and she looks down at the grounds.
"E-Evangeline..."She says to us and we smile.
"What are you doing here Evangeline?"I ask her.
"I dont know..."She says.
"Why dont you know Eve?"Asuna asks.
"I dont remember."Eve says and we frown.
"You dont know anything?"I ask her and she nods.
"All I remember is my name..."She says to us and we walk closer to her. She looks at us but then looks back down. When we get close we put one hand on each of her shoulders and smile.
"You wanna come with us Eve? It'll be fun."Asuna asks and she looks at us.
"W-What?"Eve asks.
"Yea. You can come with us."I say to her and she smiles a little bit.
"R-Really K-Kirito?"I smile knowing she got my name correct on the first try.
"Yea!"Asuna says to her and grabs her hands.
"T-Thank you... Asuna, Kirito..."She says and shy and we smile again.
"Now I think we'll never find that item Asuna."I say to her and she nods.
"Item? Are you talking about the water drop gem?"Eve says and holds out the gem.
"Thats it! Where'd you get that?"I ask her and she shrugs.
"I dont know... I just had it."She says and I smile.
"Your amazing Eve you know that."Asuna says and Eve smiles a little bit putting her hand behind her back. She was kinda cute when she's all shy like this. Wait... What? Did I just say that?
"Kirito?"I hear Asuna say and I look at her.
"Yea?"I ask and she looks at me.
"You where spacing out. Are you ok?"She asks and I smile.
"Yea I'm fine."I say to her and we look back at Eve.
"So Eve you ready to come with us?"Asuna asks holding out her hand. Eve hesitated a little but took it. "I-I don't know, I haven't left this place a long time." she confessed. My eyes grew big. Then, a rabbit hopped past me and Asuna and stopped at Eve. The blonde smiled as she picked up the animal. I smiled.
"I promise you Eve, you will return here," Eve eyes grew big. "Really?" I nodded. Eve blushed then nodded. "I just need to put protection here", and with that, she raised her hands, and a orange barrier surrounded almost everything. (Like Orihima's in Bleach. Dont know look it up).
"That was amazing Eve!"Asuna says to her.
"Really? I was just putting up a barrier to protect the forest. I wouldnt want any bad people to ruin my home."She says and we nod.
"Well then lets get out of here ok."
