Chapter 14

It was Ezekiel who fetch them after class. Michael was already there together with Lily and Mikhail in front of the school; they don't have to wait him in the parking lot since they wanted to avoid Anna.

At first Michael didn't want to get along with the siblings; he doesn't want to messed up because he knew when Anna found out he was with them she will burst again; but, Lily coerced him to go with them and there's nothing to worry about that nasty bitch.

The sky was cloudy and it was forecasted to rain; during this times, it's hard to take a bus especially when rush hours and the crowds are crowded. Many people leave from work and commute because they don't have their vehicles that can be used on a daily basis. Although,Philippines is one of the emerging markets and is the sixth richest in Southeast Asia by GDP per capital values, after the regional countries of Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, not everyone can easily buy anything like cars momentarily and rashly; most people are in the midst class or even lower.

Ezekiel patiently waited so long before Michael agreed to go with them; but, before that Michael turned to look at the man behind him who had been silent on the entire time and just listening to them--- Grey was there and Michael almost forgot that he was still there who was flustered and embarrassed to the people in front of him---and asked if he wants also to go with them since they were classmates and he was new there and do not know the winding for easy to ride and return home.

Michael asked Ezekiel if he could bring Grey along with them; Ezekiel nodded hastily so that Michael will surely go along with them. Grey sighed abruptly, and his gaze shuddered when Ezekiel looked at him as he nodded in approval.

Michael asked Grey where he wants to sit before him; Grey silently slid himself into the back seat where Lily next to him. Michael had no choice but to sit on the passenger seat---he was silently praying that Grey chose to sit in front but to his dismay, fate didn't snuggle up to him--- and slid himself slowly. Michael wondered why Lily and Mikhail would preferred to sit on the back and let him on front. Ezekiel giggled inwardly and grinned as he glanced Michael with the look said what-can-I-do-but-go as Michael sighed on defeat.

A couple of  minutes passed and surpassed several blocks after Ezekiel revving the engine and drove to the place where Grey stayed; Grey told Ezekiel to turned right on the next lane and stop on the building next on the corner building; Grey stayed on a hotel since he had not yet found an apartment near at the school due to his sudden transferring of school and no time on finding a suitable residence while he was still studying.

Grey told them that his cousin lived on the province and afar from the school that's why he had to rent a room on the hotel. Michael asked him if he wants to stay with his family but he had to spend money for the transportation since they don't have vehicle to use. Grey shook his head in disagreement and embarrassment; Grey's cousin had business to open in a couple of months later in the city proper so he had to stay near the school. Wait, did he forgot to tell who is his cousin ? Yeah, his cousin was Dark the same Dark Michael knew and became friend as well as Ezekiel's business partner.

'What a small world; destiny is really witty' Michael said with a wide smile on his face before Grey getting off the car. Michael was really surprised by the fact that Dark and Grey are cousins. They cannot talk so long since the sky was pouring rain. They blonde hair boy hurriedly went onto the foyer of the hotel and once again wave his hand and said in no sounds 'thank you' to them and smiled.

Ezekiel drove his car away from the hotel and went home. Michael can't get over the fact that Grey was Dark's cousin because Dark did not tell him as he was still in the province with his family.

The four was silent along the way; no one wanted to speak first but then Lily and Michael abruptly shrieked as Ezekiel's black iPhone rang. Ezekiel immediately answered the phone after checking the caller's ID, but only nodded as he listened to the other line; his brows knotted, and his expression changed into a furious but sedate, and slammed the steering wheel after snapping shut the phone and throwing into the windshield.
