The Acosta family held a welcome home party for Ezekiel since for almost five years he just came home. Only closed family and friends who were invited and some of their business partners. Ezekiel didn't want to have a party for him but his mom insisted so that he can meet again some of their relatives and to get to know their business partners and friends.

Lily invited Michael and Mikhail for them to see his brother again. Another reason, she desired that his brother and Michael will come to terms. At first, Michael refused to attend the party because he was shy and was not used to but his parents told them to attend. Aling Maria asked Michael to come to the party so he could be with her even just in the kitchen only.

Standing with his parents, Ezekiel talked to some of his relatives. It was a semi-formal party although it's a welcome party but his parents invited some of their business companions so he wear a black suit under his suit jacket, don a crisp button-up white shirt and he tucked it in.

"Amm, excuse me, Ezekiel I want you to meet Mr. Navarro, Dante Navarro one of our business partners", James Acosta, Ezekiel's father introduced a man to Ezekiel, "He had been with the company for more than 20 years".

"Nice to meet you, Ezekiel, time flies so fast it seems we had just met recently but now look at you, your family really had a good set of genes,"Dante Navarro greeted and flattered him. He extended his hand to Ezekiel.

"Oh,Mr Navarro nice to meet you too, thank you for the compliments but you don't have to flattered me so much I'd done enough with all of their comments about my appearance since I was arrived," Ezekiel said frankly as he took his hand and handshakes, it sounds nagging but he just wanted to be direct he used to this kind of strategy. He would not be successful at his age if he did not know such strategies. The man pretended to not heard anything because of being exposed.

"By the way, son, Dante has a daughter and I want you to meet her, she's also at the same school with your sister," James mentioned, " she's so lovely and one of the outstanding student in her school and hope you will be fancy with her," he bragged about the girl.

"Oh! You're so exaggerative Tito James, there were more brainy than me Tito," the woman objected as she come into them wearing a chic and simple off-the-shoulder dark red dress an inch above the knees with unique materials and embellishments that made her a sophisticated lady.

"Ezekiel,I would like you to meet Anna, my only daughter," Dante Navarro introduced his daughter,"she's a year older than your sister." Dante proudly introduced Anna to Ezekiel.

Anna made the first move she raised her hand to Ezekiel but Ezekiel seems to be in doubt but he still reached its hand to shake and quickly dropped as if it was scalded him from handling it.

Anna felt humiliated like she had a nasty, prickly hand that Ezekiel disgusted to hold but she veiled it. Only now did she meet a man that treated her like a grotesque horrible person. To her beauty most people were falling all over themselves to her yet this man rejected her, she was upset but she would make Ezekiel pay for it nobody will ignore her.

Ezekiel excused himself he didn't even pay attention to Anna,he was with her the whole time but the words came out from his mouth where purely business related, you can count with the finger all the words Ezekiel uttered.

Michael focused on sorting the clutter in the kitchen and he didn't notice that someone was standing behind him and suddenly spoke, he almost drop the glass he held that he was about to returned to the dish rack,"Ayy!" Michael almost screamed and could hardly breathed in fear and shock. Michael's face turned pale and his body shook as he startled.
