Ever since Shizuo and Izaya have been dating both have been happier than when they were against each other.
Shizuo certainly loves having Izaya close to him and being able to show his love for him.
When it came to being in public though he became overprotective over Izaya. Shizuo would hold Izaya close to him. Going as far as making Izaya wrap his hands over Shizuo's arm. It didn't bother Izaya at all. It made him feel special and made everyone know that Shizuo was his and vice versa.

Even during the night, the two showed their affection for each other.
"Come on Shizu~chan! I want to go to sleep!"
"Just hold on a second," Shizuo said as he was washing the dishes.
"Come on!!" Izaya was persistent and soon wrapped his arms around Shizuo's stomach.
"Don't tempt me flea," Shizuo said feeling the heat making it to his cheeks.
"Fine then! I can wait!" Izaya stormed off to bed.

Izaya was already in a deep sleep by the time Shizuo made his way to their room. He went under the covers. Soon as he laid down Izaya attached himself to him.
"Now you know how I feel whenever you stay up flea," he said kissing his forehead.
