I was flying with my brother snotlout. Hookfang was making me laugh by bullying snotlout. We got back to the edge and hiccup was waiting for us.

"guys, terror mail from berk." hiccup said while giving us the letter. Snotlout grabbed it and I read it over his shoulder. We both gasped and we ran to pack.

While I was packing fishlegs came to see me.

"hey, I read the terror mail. You want me to come for morral support?" he said smiling.

"thanks fishlegs but I think me and snotlout should go alone."

Then snotlout came in.

"hey Y/N, you ready?" snotlout said as I finished putting some things in my bag and putting them on my dragon.

"yeah, let's go." I said while leaving my hut. I looked back at fishlegs and saw him looking a little upset.

I smiled at him to let him know I'm okay and he smiled back. Then me and snotlout took off towards berk.

When we got there we were greeted with stoick.

" your father's in his hut." stoick said and snotlout started running. And stoick put his hand on my shoulder.

"if you need something, anything. I'm here." he said to me in a soft tone. I nodded and smiled then I started running off to my dads hut.

When I got there I saw my dad laying on his bed with cuts and bruises on his body. Snotlout looked at me with a sorrowful look.

I went beside his bed and started cleaning some of his cuts.

A while later snotlout went back to the edge but I stayed to look after my dad. It was passed midnight by the time I got back to the edge. I put D/N in his stable and started walking up to my hut.

I saw fishlegs outside my hut. His face showed relief and happiness when he saw me. He ran up to me and hugged me.

"I was so worried when snotlout cane back and you didn't." he said really fast. I bearly caught anything he said. I hugged him back.

*time skip to early next day*

I got up extremely early and I got to my dragon. As I mounted and was about to take off when I saw fishlegs standing there.

" where are you going? " he asks and I look at him with guilt all over my face.

"I'm sorry fishlegs but I'm going back to berk to see my dad. Stoick knows he's waiting for me." I said trying to show him how sympathetic I feel.

"I'm coming with you" he said with a serious face. I shook my head and he frowns.

"Y/N, I have loved you for as long as I have known you and I can't stand to see you so crest fallen. I'm coming with you to help you." he blurts out.

Once he realises what he said he put his hands over his mouth and blushes a dark red.

He tried to turn around but I grabbed his wrist.

" you can come with me. " I say to him to try and make him feel better.

We got to berk and I went into my dad's home with fishlegs. I cleaned his wounds and bandaged them up again. Then I notice him open his eyes.

"Y/N" my dad says as we looks at me and then the cloth in my hands.

"thank you" he says sitting up.

After a while me and fishlegs leave to walk around berk.

As we were walking I catch fishlegs glancing at me a couple of times.

"fishlegs what's wrong" I said stopping in my tracks. He stopped and looked me dead in my eyes.

"I have been meaning to tell you something." he says scratching the back of his neck. I nodded and he carried on.

"I-I'm in love with you." he spluttered out. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I love you too" I said still smiling.

A few disagreed but me and fishlegs lived happily ever after
