I woke up the next morning with knots in my stomach. I started rethinking everything...should I really get rid of this baby? Even tho I felt this way I still went to the appointment with my mom.
"So, Y/N since you're not far into your pregnancy you could terminate the pregnancy or continue then give up the baby after its born.
"How long can I wait to terminate the pregnancy?" I asked
"Only a couple more months," The doctor said.
"Ok well I want to as soon as possible," I said and My mom took my hand in hers.
"We can schedule you for next week," The doctor said and I nodded.
"Thank you," I said and she printed the paper work.
"We'll see you next week," The doctor said and handed my the paper work. We left the hospital and my mom drove me to school. It was time for second period. I signed the tardy list and went to class. I didn't sit in my normal seat I sat in the back and tried to pay attention. After class I walked out and Zach was standing outside the door.
"Where were you this morning?" Zach asked.
"I had an appointment," I said and Zach looked at my stomach.
"Is everything ok?" Zach asked.
"Everything is fine," I lied and started walking to my next class.
"Y/N is something wrong?" Zach asked sternly.
"Zach can we talk about this later," I said and Zach grabbed my arm.
"No, we need to talk about this now," Zach said and pulled me into an empty class room.
"Y/N, what's going on?" Zach asked.
"Nothing, I already told you," I lied again and tried to leave.
"I know you're lying, what's going on?" Zach asked.
"Zach...Im getting an abortion," I said and I saw the hurt instantly appear in his eyes.
"Why?" Zach said and I could hear the sadness in his voice.
"Because, I don't want you and Joey fighting anymore over my pregnancy," I said and Zach balled his fist.
"Seriously, so his happiness matters more over mine?" Zach kinda shouted.
"Both of you matter to me and if this helps," he cut me off.
"Its not gonna help Y/N," Zach shouted.
"Zach, calm down," I said.
"How the hell am I supposed to calm down, My girlfriend just told me she's gonna get rid of my first child," Zach said.
"What about Katie?" I asked.
"She lied, it was never mine, its Jonah's," Zach said and regret filled my body.
"Zach Im sorry," I said and he shook his head.
"No you're not, because you're gonna get the abortion no matter what I say," Zach said before storming out the classroom and slamming the door. I felt tears fall down my cheeks as I called my mom.
"Hello?" She said, picking up the phone.
"Can you come get me?" I asked in between crying.
"Why, what's wrong?" My Mom asked.
"I'll tell you, can you just please come get me," I cried into the phone.
"Im on my way," My mom said and hung up. I quickly left the school and sat on the bench outside. I cried and waited for my mom to pull up, eventually she did after a couple minutes.
"So what happened?" She asked as I got in the car.
"I told Zach..." I said as the tears kept falling.
"He didn't take it well, did he?" My mom said and I nodded. She started driving, I looked out the window with blurry vision from the tears and kept replaying that moment in my head. Zach will never get over this...
