As soon as the bunny had stepped out of his home with his hyung holding his cage tightly in his hand, he'd let out a breath of relief - one that he didn't know he was keeping inside.

He knew he had left his home, his friends, Y/N, but he also knew that Hoseok wouldn't keep him away from them. The man had said it himself. Yes, Kookie could understand anything they'd say, just like every human, even on his four, short legs. Nothing had changed. He had been away from his bunny form for a few months, but to him, it'd seemed like yesterday.

Hoseok's flat was kinda small and very simple. The walls were painted with intense colors, but no paintings adorned any of them. Pictures were another subject. Every furniture in the living room was covered by pictures. Literally every furniture! Hoseok's himself, with his family, his old friends, as known as Y/N, Yoongi and even Kookie in his bunny form - and his knew friends as known as Jimin, Jin, Namjoon and Taehyung. Hoseok loved to keep those moments in photo frames. A huge smile would appear on his lips everytime he'd return home and check out each one of them.

Just as the duo entered Hoseok's flat, the boy let a sign of relief, which was also kinda of sadness. Hoseok never wanted for things to get this turn, but he wouldn't let the bunny - that he also got fond of - helpless.

" Welcome to your new home, buddy. " He announced, while closing the door behind him with his foot.

The young man let down Kookie's cage and their stuff, in order to pull over the curtains and open the windows so the air could refresh the place. Then, he took off his thin, grey jacket and went towards the little rabbit, kneeling in front of him.

" I know it's not your actual home my friend, but please, try to get used to it for now. Take your time though. " Hoseok told him gently, unlocking his cage and letting him free, stepping back.

Kookie was a bit hesitant at first, but he took his time and managed to step out of his small cage some minutes after Hoseok fled to his room with their stuff in his hands. He trusted his hyung. After all, that was the reason why he went to him for comfort right after he switched. But thinking about it, maybe that was wrong. Because his action turned Yoongi against him. If he knew, he'd not have  done it. He didn't want to bring his beloved hyung to this point, but unfortunately and unintentionally he did.

The little, fur ball had just made himself comfortable on the untractable sofa when his hyung re-appeared in the small living-room.

" Ah, you got comfy there i see. Nice. " Hoseok addressed to his little friend with a cute smile on his full lips, just as he sat casually next to him. " How does it feel being here, bunny? " Hoseok wondered out loud and the bunny boy jumped on his lap as an answer. The older guy smiled gently and gave him a gentle touch. " I am glad you feel fine, Kooks. I was worried you wouldn't. You were so used to your old home. It'd be normal. "

At the mention of his past, Kookie hid his small form under Hoseok's arm. " Shh, i know. I mean, i can guess how you're feeling, but Kook? I'm here. We all are here for you. I know you probably believe that you have nobody, but give it some time and i'm sure everything will turn out better. " The honey-haired guy tried to mitigate the small bunny.

The bunny's hopeful eyes turned on him with a questioning gaze. " You are lost, puzzled maybe. But i promise you. We love you. Every single one of us. I do. Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung, that are like your parents do. Jiminie, that made a mistake with that kind of game he took you to does. Yoongi, that shithead, who always speaks without thinking does. Taehyng, who never really cared, but now he can't think of a life without your friendship does. Y/N - "

Kookie shook at the mention of her name and tried to leave from Hoseok's embrace, but failed. The young man wouldn't let him run off, not without listening to him first.

" No. No Kooks. Im sorry, but you need to listen first before you take any decision you may regret soon enough. Y/N does care about you. It's not my place to tell you what kind of love you two have for each other, but you're also unable to find out the way things turned out. I am sorry buddy, but you chickened out by switching. " He scolded the younger with a rougher look.

The bunny didn't try to leave anymore, he just lowered his head and ears, cuddling closer to his dear friend, taking it all in.

" Did you regret switching back, Kookie? " Hoseok was afraid asking, but he did anyways.

Kookie knew the answer, however it was too late - plus he needed some time for himself, to think and relax. Maybe, afterall, his decision wasn't so wrong.

Which decision is wrong anyways? None. Each one of our decisions - in our eyes - is the right one. The same went for the little bunny.

The poor bunny sighed and quietened in the older's warmth - curled in a small, fluffy ball.

" Can't you switch back to your human form? " Hoseok made another question like he knew how the younger boy was feeling and what he was thinking. And maybe, just maybe he did.

Kookie thought about it, but even if he could, he didn't know how. But, was he really ready to turn back? Was he strong enough to face Yoongi and Y/N? All he knew was that he should go on with his life, even if that meant that he'd stay at his bunny form. Nevertheless, he couldn't lie to himself. He kinda liked his human. His appearance and his voice - even if he wasn't using it much. Those people made him love himself as a human - and he hated that. Because now he was feeling off as a bunny - like it was not him anymore. How could he be a human? He could not speak normally, he seemed unormal to the world and he had no plans for his future. He didn't have a future, specifically. He wasn't good to anything in order to work on it and make something out of it - his future life.

" I know it may be hard, but Kooks, your human form was a miracle for us. Having you was pure magic. If you want, whenever you feel ready, please, switch back and i promise you, together, we will fix everything. I'm positive you can do this. Take your time and come back to us K-kook. " The young man's voice broke at the end and he swallowed hard to keep his tears in.

Right after Hoseok laid down his sofa with a low sigh, Kookie laid down on his hyung's knees. " Don't forget that i'll always be here for you and that i love you dearly. Sleep tight now, Kooks. It was a hard day for both of us. " He encouraged him with a soft pet on his small head.

Both were pretty tired and it didn't take them long to fall asleep. They knew that the next day would probably also be a tough one.
