Pulling into the driveway, (Y/n) sighed. Going into an empty house would be a very bittersweet thing. On one hand she wouldn't have to deal with being beat, and fear that she constantly was doing something wrong. On the other hand, the said person that caused her to feel that way was brutally murdered by a psycho, shapeshifting, demonic animatronic that she had fallen in love with. What a classic love story, right? Getting out of the car, all she wanted to do was go to bed. So that's exactly what she did.

The next afternoon when she awoke, she wondered if she should call in. Her stomach churned at the thought of returning to the pizzeria. Dialing her boss' number she waited patiently for him to pick up. Surprisingly he picked up quickly. "Miss (Y/n), are you alright? Freddy told me what happened...are you calling to quit?" He seemed nervous and for a moment, she almost laughed.

"No, I'm not quitting...actually, I was wondering if there was any way I could have a few days off?" She asked softly, trying to hide the pain in her voice, she was awfully sore.

"Of course, actually you can have the rest of the week off. The pizzeria is closed for...maintenance. " He sounded anxious about saying it, and she understood. They had to cover up the murder scene. After all, it would be bad for business. "You can return Monday. I'll have someone to cover your spot during night shift, since we don't want anyone breaking in. One of the day guards can take over. Don't worry they'll be fine." (Y/n) wasn't going to argue one bit.

"Can you tell everyone? I don't want them to worry." She asked, she hated putting so much on the man but there was no way she could contact them.

"Of course, get some rest." And then he hung up. (Y/n) crawled back into bed, and promptly fell back asleep.

The next few days were quiet for (Y/n). She hardly did anything but eat and sleep, she spent alot of time in pain and the bruises only got nastier as the days progressed. She figured she should go to the hospital but she didn't want too many questions being asked nor the police alerted. She was heading downstairs to get some water when a knock on her front door caught her off guard. Her heart nearly stopped, had someone reported Marcus missing? Was it the police? Another knock, this time more urgent. Slowly making her way to the door, she began unlocking it. With a deep breath, she opened the door and blinked in surprise.

Goldie stood there, a look of relief on his face. He smiled and held out a bouquet of (fav. flower). (Y/n) slowly smiled and took them, "To what do I owe the pleasure?" She asked, she was quite happy to see him.

"Just needed to check on you, I was going stir crazy in the pizzeria. May I come in?" Goldie asked politely. (Y/n) nodded, stepping aside. This was the first time he entered the home in a while, unlike last time it was very clean. "Lovely home you have."
"Thank you, I'm actually thinking of moving. Putting this house on the market." She spoke truthfully, "But I need to save up a bit more before I do." She also had Marcus' money, so it wasn't like she would be in alot of debt if she moved now. There was just too many bad memories here and she wanted to forget Marcus.

"I can understand that. Maybe you could move closer to the pizzeria. I wouldn't have to use so much of my power that way." He suggested, and (Y/n) tilted her head. Ah that's right. She doesn't know. He thought. He smiled, "Maybe someday I can tell you what I mean, but right now...I just want to hold you." (Y/n) didn't argue as the male scooped her into his arms. He walked over to the couch and sat down.

After a long while, (Y/n) looked up at him. "Hey Goldie?" She asked, and he responded with a soft hum, indicating he was listening. His blue eyes met her (e/c) ones. "What are we?" She asked, and he blinked in surprise.

"Well, that depends." He said thoughtfully.

"On what?" (Y/n) asked, raising a brow.

"If you say yes." Goldie chuckled, "Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

(Y/n) smirked, hesitating to answer as if she was unsure if she did. Goldie's aura of confidence soon changed to one of anxiousness. She giggled at his facial expression, "Of course I will." She answered finally. He grinned at her. And kissed the top of her head.

The two of them talked for a long while, before Goldie began to look tired. "Maybe you should head back." (Y/n) spoke softly, Goldie sighed. He knew he should. And so he would, but before he would leave he wanted to do one thing. Leaning in, he brushed his lips against her soft ones. He smiled a bit, as it reminded him of their first kiss. Finally, he kissed her. Like their first kiss, it was soft and gentle. He did not want to hurt her in any way. Pulling away, he smiled at her softly.

"I love you." Goldie said softly, he knew by human standard this was a big thing to say and he knew it was very early in the relationship. Heck, they had only known each other for a few weeks, and only had been official for a few hours. Goldie didn't care though, he never thought he would get to feel this way. And now that he had he was very certain of the extent of his feelings. Of course, he had no clue how this relationship would work or how it would last. But he was determined to make it work. After all he promised he would make it okay, that he would protect her, and make her happy...and he intended to keep that promise.

"I love you too." (Y/n) said back to his surprise. He grinned at her as he stood up with her in his arms, setting her down he took her hand in his. Lifting her hand up, he kissed it softly.

"Well my dear, I'll see you when you return. If you need me, you know where to find me." She nodded at his words, and then in the blink of an eye he was gone.
