** 12 years earlier**
Drowned in her deep nightmare-ish slumber, the six year old girl thrashed, turned and screamed in her sleep.
^The nightmare^
Tree after tree after tree, the crunching of the dried leaves and the branches mixed together with my heavy panting only made me more anxious and frightful about the person chasing me."PALVIN!!!!" The man screamed behind me as I ran faster than I've ever 'then suddenly THE SKY STARTED TO CRY' soaking me with it's tears and before i could comprehend anything, I slipped and fell unto the soaked ground. I grunt as I tried getting up on my wobbly hands but a hand pulled me up by hair painfully."
**END OF NIGHTMARE**
"Mommy!!!" The little girl cried for her mom. Thud after thud was heard coming up the stairs, the little girl's door almost being ripped off its hinges as a blonde woman dressed in pajamas came running.
"Baby? Vera? Sweetheart are you okay??"the woman questioned the little girl.
"MOMMY!! MOMMY!!! MY HEAD HURTS" the little girl screamed and cried to her mom frightening the young mom. The girl's mother put her hand on her daughter's forehead wiping the sweat that covered her child.
"Vera look at mommy" the woman calmly told her. The little girl's doe eyes met her mum's as the woman continued "you're okay. It was just a nightmare! Mama is here now baby" she pulled her daughter's head towards her chest stroking her head lovingly.
"But mama I-I-it felt real! My head s_sti-still hurts" the little girl argued, hiccuping from her crying. The young woman released her child from her chest and questioned her "where does it hurt?? Huh baby??"
The young child pulled her mom's hand to the back of her head and spoke "right here" she whispered Her cheeks still wet with tears. Her mother felt over where I daughter had placed her hand and she felt nothing.
"Well maybe you bumped your head while you were sleeping!" The woman reassured her daughter.
"B-but m...." the child got cut off by her mom "it's nothing baby! Just a bad dream! Now go back to sleep"
"Okay goodnight" the child said.
"Goodnight my love" the mom replied kissing her daughter's forehead.
