Everything was fixed. Ladybug had been well enough to use her Lucky Charm and bring everyone and everything back to its original state. Paris was restored, as was the people's hope, but not Chloe.
She stood draped over the long balcony of the bourgeois hotel. Looking back up the sky, she sighed. She remembered it all. Well, not everything. It came back in nightmares for her. Ladybug's identity remained secret, and most of Miracle Queens actions were clouded or unclear, but Chloe felt the darkness in her and she knew subconsciously how much pain she had caused. Since she herself had forced the darkness out, it left a scar. She still felt a bit broken and scared, but she at least felt proud she had won her own battle. Her mother had left unhappily, which made Chloe sure she would never return. Everyone at school had more than forgiven Chloe, but she still felt broken, she felt scared. It was hard to remember that all the anger and darkness inside of her had made her do terrible things. Chloe often worried of what would happen now if she ever let that darkness rise again.
Another sign escaped her breath, but it was quickly silenced by the smooth rymth of a guitar. Luka sat in a chair nearby as he played a sweet tune for his new, but heartbroken girlfriend. Eventually he went over to her and put an arm around her shoulder. She leaned into him. "Luka...why do you love me?" Chloe had felt extremely relieved when Luka had admitted he did, but she didn't understand why. She at first thought it was because he was afraid she would become evil again if he left, but he denied that thought.
"Chloe, I love you because of who you are. You've been through so many tradgities, more than most people go through, yet in the end you always stand up and be brave. Your sole is like fire. You might be feisty and hard to control, yet No one can destroy you. That's why I love you, My Queen."
"And I love you, my king." Chloe found it hard not to smile. How could Luka turn anything good, or even make difficult times into easy ones?
Each of them turned around and looked into each others eyes. They both leaned closer and closer, until their lips finally met.
💢
"I knew they'd get together." Ladybug said, glancing down at the new couple from a far away building.
"Well that means were next bugaboo." Cat Noir teased. Ladybug turned around and rolled her eyes.
"We'll see about that. Bugout!" Ladybug yelled. Cat Noir sat down on the roof, huming the sweet little tune he had made up. "Little kitty on a roof...all alone without his lady...."
