My dad picked this book out for me because he thought it was interesting, I never though I'd actually read it though. Funny thing thought, this was one book I could not forget about. Though, the cover of mine was orginally different with two roads connecting together in the far back of the cover.. if that makes any sense. I remember drawing a book cover of it and getting first place, woo! (: I think it also had an apple on the cover too.

Summary: It is spring in Seldem, a small town that could be anywhere in the U.S., and Debbie is looking forward to her summer vacation, though she wishes that something good would happen to her. In Seldem, very little exciting happens, and this summer will probably be no different. As school comes to an end, she begins to hang out with her normal friends, Patty, Hector, Lenny and Phil, doing normal things - walking around town, going to the Tastee Freez, and sitting in Lenny's dad's parked truck each evening listening to the nightly "Criss Cross" radio show. Hector is feeling the same way as Debbie and, after hearing a guitarist play at a local coffee house, takes a bit of action, in the form of guitar lessons at a local church.

(I do not have the actual book in my hands right now.. I did take this book from this website.. I mean the summary! Not the book. oops... Too lazy to erase haha Well I took the summary from this website since I don't have the book anymore, sadly. I wish I owned it still. I remember the cover being different. I think the one I had, had two roads connecting in the horizon and like.. there was an apple. Weird huh? Well here's the link to the summary. It's not the best summary but I really didn't want to look hard to find a summary.. >>>>>http://www.bookrags.com/Criss_Cross_(novel)/ sorry for the inconvenience)

Review: This book is amazing! I still remember the ending (: I do recommend this book though. I can never forget this book. It's just amazing and I really do love this book. I read this in 5th grade and I still remember how every chapter would change between these two characters. I hope you would read this, I think it hits to a younger audience but not like 7 maybe? I'm not sure. I truely loved this book and really wish I had the actual book in my hands right now... The story, like many others was captivating and I really read this book. I think I had to read it twice to actually understand it, though I was younger so that makes a bit more sense. In the end, this book was amazing.
