The phone rings in William's home as he looks out the window.

"Mr. Brixton? There's a phone call for you."

"Thank you Anne." William picks up the nearest phone. "Hello?"

"William? It's Isla." William smiles.

"Isla?" He sits down. "Isla who?" He jokes.

"She's a young woman that you've been seeing. She's beautiful, is an amazing singer and she's as what you described as a 'badass.' Does that ring any bells?"

"Ah yes. It's coming back to me now. What can I do for you?"

"Tommy has invited a local ballet company to perform Swan Lake at his home. I was wondering if you would like to come with me."

"Like a date?"

"It could be."

"By my calculations, this would be out 4th date."

"And you would be right. Please say you'll come."

"Of course. I would be honored." Isla gives him the information and the two say their goodbyes. "Anne!" William calls out.

"Yes sir?"

"Can you please tell Nicholas to bring the car around? I need to go into town."

"Right away." George walks past Anne and comes into the room.

"What's got you all happy?"

"I have another date."

"Ah. With..."

"Isla. Yes, her. We're going to see a ballet." George raises his eyebrow.

"I thought you didn't like ballet."

"I never said that." George makes a face.

"Whenever we went to the ballet as a family, you would always stay behind."

"That's because I didn't want to go with you all."

"But going with her is alright?"

"Look if you don't approve, just say so."

"I'm not saying that. I'm just saying be careful."

"Why because she's black?"

"Oh heavens no. You know I'm not like that. But mum and dad on the other hand..." William groans. "I'm saying be careful because of who she's... associated with."

"You mean the Peaky Blinders. I'll be fine George. Don't you worry." Anne comes in.

"The car is ready for you sir."

"Thank you Anne. I will see you later little brother."

"A fucking ballet?" Michael complains to his mother as he waves the invitation.

"Tommy wants to impress somebody."

"And he invited me?" He takes off his coat.

"You and Gina."

"Why?"

"Because Tommy wants to give you the chance to come back. Properly." She hands him a drink as he sits down. Polly slides him a piece of paper.

"A coal haulage?"

"Yes. He wants you to reopen those books to become the managing director."

"So I came back from Detroit to be a coal man." He lights a cigarette.
