So, here it is, the first chapter of my new book 'Letters To All'!
I promise you, I'll be keeping my other books updated, but I like to get in over my head and then get all emotional so... Yeah! Who else can relate though?

Enjoy the first chapter of the story! x

Oh God, oh no.
Senior year and my knees were shaking as our dad drove us to school. I mean, I could drive myself, but it wasn't like I was good or anything. I mean, my baby sister even put on a helmet when she sat next to me in the car, if that even makes sense?

I don't know, I was feeling a lot of things at the moment, mostly nerves because you know, new school year and all of that. And also that I'd be seeing all five of them again starting from today.
That's right, over the course of my entire sad life, I've had a total of five crushes that made my heart jump with joy or turn in pain.

For starters there had always been Ashton.
Ashton was my best friend, with emphasis on was. Ever since he started dating Cassidy, I hadn't been seeing much of him again considering that girl had hated me ever since she saw me. It didn't help that I floored her a couple of years ago during ice skating but I mean, how long could you hold a grudge for?
Anyways, I remember that day very well because it was the day where my braces got removed. He had gone with me and held my hand the entire time through it because I was so scared. But it made me feel safe to know that he was there and I kind of, I don't know, I never... Ah, well. I guess it was too late because also, on the same day, he told me that he had started seeing Cassidy and well, two years later now, they were still dating.
Good for him.

So, I wrote him a letter, explaining all the feelings that I had been holding in and how he made me feel safe, how he made me laugh every single day again and how he'd had such a good influence on my life, basically. How we could just talk about everything.
But that didn't really matter now, did it?

"Okay sweethearts, time for you to go take over the big school!" My dad exclaimed as he turned around in his seat. I couldn't believe where we'd gotten such an amazing dad. He had been our rock ever since my mother had taken off with that one other guy to see the world. —I just felt really sorry for my dad because, I wanted them to go off and see the world when we were out of the house. Guess she couldn't wait that long.

"Freshman and senior, how you two are growing up." He sighed, more to himself by the looks of it. I pursed my lips together and looked over to my not-so-baby sister who was sat next to me in the back, a hand running over her face. "Okay, cool, can we go now?" She muttered and my dad smiled proudly at us. "Go rock it!"

I swear, sometimes I didn't know who I had the actual normal gene in the family from.
As I was walking into the building on my own, my sister Kelly May, was already standing with her large group of friends. I had never been about that much, but I did have one friend who always cheered me up.

"Ready for our last year before college?" I suddenly heard a sweet voice sound from behind me and I spun around on my heel, my skirt flaring out all around me. "Mitty!" I exclaimed before throwing my arms around her.

Miranda was my very best friend (and probably only friend) in the entire world. But she'd been off camping with her family all Summer so I hadn't seen too much of her.
As I pulled back from our hug, I was suddenly sent flying into the ground and from what I gathered, someone had accidentally been pushed into me.

And then I heard a laugh I recognized all too well when I looked up and saw a group of guys standing there with their school hoodies on. The football team. And football team meant...
