Susan's mom knocks her daughter's door to wake her up. She didn't know that her graduating baby couldn't sleep last night. But of course she won't! It's her big day today.
She takes a shower, gets dressed up. She couldn't eat.
It was 12th May of 2011, she left home with her parents to go to her graduation ceremony.
They arrived right on time.
All seniors in the hall of her high school were aligned according to their sections .
The place was crowded and there was too much noise. Friends chatting, others taking pictures. And everyone was waiting for the event to begin. and it was surprisingly fun.
People that day, forgot all the grudges and hard feelings. they congratulated friends and co-graduates sincerely.
As Susan's turn came along, she walked up to the stage feeling a little fuzzy and wearing the best face exspression.
The principal was smiling at her, his smile crossed his face from his left ear to his right one. He shook her hand and gave her the diploma then started talking through the microphone.
"Miss Susan Tariq, I am honored and proud of you. Today you proved to everyone how much of hard-working brilliant student you were all these years. Now I'd like to inform you that you are one of the top ten graduates of this high school. Congratulations! You have won a scholarship to complete your studies in Germany."
The claps started getting louder and louder in the hall. Everyone was happy for her, specially her parents.
She stood behind the microphone and gave a short speech thanking everyone. She knew that her grades were good but she didn't expect this much. What a lucky girl!
