After a long trip, she is finally there...
Susan knew well that a new chapter of her life was about to begin, but is she ready for this much of a change?
"Dear passengers, welcome to berlin's international airport. Please follow the signs to find your flights and those who have just arrived, you may ask the staff for help whenever you need it. Thank you."
Those formal words made her feel welcomed and comfortable even if they were not directed to her uniquely.
She took her luggage -which was not much- and kept looking for Donya, her father's friend's wife.
She wasn't that pretty. She was old but tall. her face was pale yet familiar and safe for Susan. She could trust her.she has arrived to her new home that she didn't want to call it a sweet home. If she has to live with them she'd have to follow their rules and obey them, which wasn't her thing. She wanted complete freedom from house rules and parenting. At this age she wouldn't have to do what she is told to avoid troubles.
But to be fair her parents didn't leave her under her relatives' mercy.
a few days after living with her new family, she moved to the campus housing. Now she's satisfied.
Her guide at this new college was quite a spectacular view but she was too distracted to notice, she can't even remember his name!
That doesn't matter anyway.
Finally she arrived safe and sound to her room. Finally she felt relieved that she is getting closer to achieve her dream. She really worked hard and now is not the time to re-think about her long day so she decided to sleep ... a deep long sleep.
Suddenly someone or something got into the room and started making noise; moving things around, changing, closing doors, opening windows.
It didn't even care that there was someone else sleeping in the same room only few steps ahead of it.
Neither of them felt disturbed by the presence of the other.
The next morning Susan wakes up and finds her new roommate that she haven't had the chance to officially meet already awake, bathed, dressed and ready to start her day.
While Susan... well he didn't look that ready yet.
"Good morning." She said. Her clear green passive eyes were directed to Susan's.
"Hello, good morning to you. I can speak german too." Susan answered with a sleepy voice trying to communicate with the new girl that took so long to reply.
"Well too bad I don't. You know so little don't you? Don't answer that, now I have to go or else I'm going to be late. let's catch up later. See you babe."
She says while taking sips of her strongly-smelling coffee as she leaves the room and Susan with a confused dumb look on her face.
