Susan can now enjoy her life after the good news.
Her father will take care of everything concerning her departure to Germany. He knows some relatives there that will gladly look after his daughter while she's there.
Her visa will take about four months to be ready. She has all the time to enjoy summer and think of her future plans.
She went to a resort in Djerba -the most charming Tunisian island- to enjoy the luxurious massages and the warm beach.
All what she does during the day is sun bathing and swimming.
At nights she goes to the traditional souqs and coffee shops with sea-view to watch the sunset and drink milkshakes with her besties.
She went later to Tozeur, a state in the south.
That place was like a heaven on earth. The excursion in the desert was magnificent except the part when she got her leg bitten by a snake. Well, It happens for the best of us.
Then she visited Soussa in the east coast. I can tell you she really is a big fan of beaches and summer.
This place was special to her. She met some guys and new friends, She was partly sad when she had to leave.
Two months later, Autumn is already here! Her last destination this holiday is Aïn-Drahim. The Tunisian snow-white; it's the most snowy place in The county because it has mountains and its geographic coordinates are higher than the other regions when compared to the sea level.
It basically means that they get to enjoy a snowy winter while the others have to struggle with rain and mud.
It's freezing cold. Wind, rain and snow wherever you go.
It was a great weather for her to stay at the hotel room and make up her mind about her superior studies.
After doing some researches, asking for advice and a lot of thinking she finally came up with a decision.
So she called her father to tell him about it. "Hello dad."
"Hey honey is everything okay?"
"Oh yeah. I just wanted you to know that I'll be studying social science in Germany."
"Really?! I didn't know that you are into law." he said ironically "but if that is your choice, I can't stop you. You're old enough to know what's right for you."
She felt like her dreams are becoming true. Fireworks flew inside her head, it was a milestone in her life.
Then her dad interrupts her train of thoughts "honey I'm still here!"
"Oh dad I'm sorry. I was thinking."
"I just wanted to ask you, Do you have any name of college on your mind?"
"Umm, not really. But I will look for a good one."
"Well then keep me updated. Bye"
"Bye."
She was so tired that night so she slept early and promised to search for a college the next day.
Yusuf -Susan's father- tells Yasmin -her mother- about their daughter's decision. She wasn't very pleased, "What a waste of time and money!" She said. "You are not even paying for it Yasmin, let the girl achieve her goals. She have been always making us proud, can't we support her for once?" He replied to her coldly. "Yes, Yes we can! I am just not convinced" she pauses "she said that she wants to be a psychologist. I am sure my daughter will be the best in her domain!"
"I hope so." He answers.
