seonghwa quickly removed his arms from eunha's waist and stumbled back, hitting his lower back against he counter behind.

"ah!" he winced in pained, walking to the sofa.

"why is he here?" jongho whispered, but clearly loud enough for seonghwa to hear.

"check the bag," seonghwa gasped, rubbing his back to sooth the pain.

jongho checked the bag on the counter and took the medicine out.

"thanks," jongho replied, not sparing the other man a glance.

eunha noticed some tension between the two but decided not to say anything. she finished making the food and brought it to the dining table.

"san, come down to eat," eunha yelled.

san came running down the stairs within seconds. he looked at eunha when he saw seonghwa and jongho sitting across each other, not eating and glancing at each other.

she just gave him a slight shrug and gestured for him to sit down. he obliged and began to eat.

everything was silent and they were all eating until one of the four spoke.

"are you dating?" san blurted out.

seonghwa's eyes widened and eunha choked on her orange juice.

"no, we're just friends," eunha replied, after she calmed down.

hurt was written all of seonghwa's face but he couldn't hide it. not from san or jongho, anyways.

"thanks for the breakfast," seonghwa quickly spoke and left the house.

the three just sat there and stared at the door.

"did i say something wrong?" eunha gulped.

"no, but you should talk to him later. he has something to say," san said, "he's just too cowardly to say it."

after they ate, jongho took their plates and cups to the sink while eunha went to get ready to meet seonghwa and san washed up.

"i don't think seonghwa should tell her anymore. she'd be too heartbroken," san spoke.

"i think he should. she deserves to know," jongho replied, "but if it goes wrong, he knows my response."

the pair heard a scoff come from behind them.

"what should i know?" eunha sighed, "what are you hiding?"
