The children left a week later, and Shikaku watched his children leave from the gates, battling a sickness that he couldn't defeat. He was dying and would be dead before the children finished their training. He wanted to cry, he couldn't see his sons grow up, or marry. He knew all of his sons would marry men, and he didn't love them any less.

He loved them even more.

He knew that he instilled everything he could into those children, and he was happy that Gaara could be loved by an actually family. That he knows what brothers are like, that he has people he can depend on. That he knows exactly who he is, and who he's going to be.

So when his children left, he turned to Hizuren and Hizuren nodded. He took Shikaku to the hospital, where they hooked him up to wires and machines to see if they could find a cure to whatever he had but he knew it was all for nothing. He was at peace in his life, he did exactly what he needed to do.

He took care of three children, he loved them, and he married the woman of his dreams. He's lived a life, and if he was to die, he wouldn't be in the slightest bit upset.

The children were walking with the Sannin. They knew something was wrong, and they didn't say anything to the Sannin, they were all joined at the hands, Naruto's intuition was the strongest, and he could pick up on Shikaku's face.

The children knew Shikaku was dying, or at least sick. You'd have to be stupid not to see it, however they made a promise to each other, and father that they would be strong, they would protect one another and they wouldn't forsaken the other.

So that's exactly what they did. They trained hard, day in and day out. They travelled the lands, that had even met the other seven jinchuriki, and they all seemed to click with one another, Gaara seemed to enjoy Roushi's company.

Once that was done they continued their training, and on year three, they got the letter from Hizuren that Shikaku died, and the children cried, and Orochimaru decided to extend their training from four years to six, to come back when fifteen. To give them time to grieve.

However the next morning the children were up and ready to train, they allowed themselves to grieve, however they also told father that they would be the strongest the land has ever seen, and they would honor that promise.

During the years when The Sannin had to take a mission, the children took a mission and they made quite a name for themselves. The children were listed as B-Class Ninja's. They showed extreme prowess with their specialties.

Shikamaru, with Kenjutsu and his Shadows.

Naruto with Sealing and Sage.

Gaara with Medical Ninjustu and Genjutsu.

Their appearance has change as well.

Gaara shaggy red hair fell to his shoulders, he didn't grow it longer than that, and he didn't cut it shorter than that. He held his diamond on his forehead, it was green in color and matched his sensei's diamond. He had the kanji for love on his collar bone, and his teal eyes shined with a sparkle. He had little muscles but nothing to warrant that he was a boy. He wore a black tank top, and blue pants, and a red cover up much like his sensei.

Shikamaru raven hair was still in his signature ponytail. He was 5'7while Naruto was 5'6 and Gaara stood at 5'6 like Naruto. His raven eyes looked as if he's seen everything this world had to offer, he held more muscle than Gaara and Naruto but while he looked like a boy, everybody could've very much tell that he was still very much gay. He wore black pants, and a black tank top while he wore a green robe that stopped at his waist, they were long on his arms, he wore something similar to Orochimaru, and much like his mentor he had a sword strapped to his back.

Naruto blonde hair was to his waist. He however placed it in a bun on top of his head. His bright blue eyes shined in mischief, and whiskers marks shined deeply, his body was much like Gaara's similar but different, Gaara sported abs while Naruto very much did not have any. Although his Sensei was the toad Sannin, he could summon and use foxes thanks to Kurama. He however work black pants, and a red fish net shirt with a black cover up. He wore similar clothes to his Sensei and had the kanji for seal on his shoulder.

They were ready to head home. The now fifteen year old children walked back to their village, they wasn't sure how they would fit in, how they would adjust, and how they would fit in? If they were going to take the Genin exam or jump considering who they were trained by.

They didn't know, and they wasn't sure if they should be worried about that now. They did have to return home, and go through their fathers belongings. That was troubling Shikamaru the most right now.

It would also seem that their demons were making it known that it was time for them to mate, time for them to find husband and to settle down. They weren't sure if they wanted that either. Gaara more than anybody else.

He didn't want to see the look on his future husbands face to see the scars that he had, the memories and the way he'd look at him when he says that he's broken. Unloving, and not like his siblings.

So when the gates came into view, they realized that they were home, but they stood there, not stepping in and not moving. The Sannin stood behind the children, watching as Gaara made the first step, which surprised everyone.

"Let's head home, and see if we can see where father was buried." Gaara asked and Shikamaru nodded.

"Yeah, absolutely." They walked in and exhaled before walking to the tower, the Sannin was still just as quiet behind them and continued to tower, when they walked in they saw Hizuren buried under paperwork, and he looked stressed and his students knew that he was going to need help once again.

But the Sannin spoke, speaking of their child, their prodigy.

All three mastered Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu.

Gaara master medical Ninjutsu along with Genjutsu.

Shikamaru, his clan Jutsu's and Kenjutsu.

Naruto, Sealing, Sage and Mokuton.

They were giving off a lot of chakra, and that wasn't including the chakra of their demons, they are dangerous, and trained to be the new Sannin.

"The Graduation exams are tomorrow, you can take them. Welcome home." The children nodded and Naruto spoke.

"Where's father buried?" Hizuren smiled sadly.

"Next to your mother." The children bowed and left, and Hizuren looked to the Sannin. They all nodded and took a stack of work and begun working, while thinking of their prodigy children.

They seemed down, and hoped that being back in the village didn't make them unfeeling and cold because of the death of their father.
