17. Two Months Along

Orochimaru sat at the desk, looking over the information that was pouring in from his allies, so he decided before they get invaded by three major villages, that he sends out teams to weaken their defense, infiltrate the villages, shut the operation down from the inside, and a lot of people came to mind as he thought of this.

So he called a few people to the tower, kicked all the Anbu from the room, and made sure Tsunade and Jiraiya were in the room. To make sure each and every group had what they needed to move out. It had been about five months since the Chunin exams, and his newly promoted children were all finally back in the village and had been for some time.

Their secret training was complete, so Orochimaru was secretly hoping that they could eliminate the threats, and possible avoid the war overall.Orochimaru watched as people walked in.

Kakashi of the Sharigan. Asuma Sarutobi, Mighty Guy, Genma Shiranui, Hayate Gekko, Itachi Uchiha, Hiashi Hyuga, Raido Namiashi. His Jounin walked in, the ones who scored the most results, they all walked in and bowed, Jiraiya had begun to sort them out.

Kakashi, and Itachi were in group one Asuma, Genma and Hayate in group two. Hiashi, Raido and Mighty Guy in group three. Then Orochimaru's prodigy's came in, Orochimaru expected the children to come in all loud like however each teen looked serious and dressed for this very occasion.

Naruto walked in with his blonde in a ponytail, he wore a robe that flowed behind him. Behind him was a Uchiha who looked mad , they could feel the tense air as the first couple walked in. Behind them was Gaara and Kiba, Gaara and Kiba held hands, but their face was blank. Shikamaru and Neji was last, both of their hair was down, and Shikamaru gave a lazy yawn.

Orochimaru was about to speak, but then the demons walked in behind them, they leaned against the window watching the people that Orochimaru deemed could handle this mission. Kurama knew this was the elite.

"You all are here, and broken into three groups because you all are important to make sure we do not go to war." Sasuke looked down at Naruto, He tossed his arm around Naruto and said teen leaned into him.

"Group one sole mission is to kill Madara Uchiha. That is exactly why the group is made up of three who wield the Sharigan, and somebody whos Taijutsu is off the walls." Naruto nodded.

"Madara is located somewhere in between the Sand and the sound, Jiraiya has narrowed it down to two places." Itachi walked up and grabbed the paper, he looked it over.

"He's definitely in the land of river." Itachi muttered, and Kakashi nodded in agreement.

"I want him dead, I don't care what who deals the final blow..." Naruto spoke lowly.

"It'll be me." Naruto said and Kakashi spoke.

"You don't even wield a Sharigan." Naruto chuckled.

"I don't need it, worry about your self Kakashi." Naruto said and Sasuke sent his sensei a sympathetic look.

"Group Two's job is to head to Suna, eliminate the Kazekage and his family, don't let your identities be seen, we want to keep a treaty but we want to avoid them invading." Gaara gave a look to Kiba to see him already looking down at him.

"Are we to reek havoc too?" Gaara asked, and Shukaku hummed.

"I believe that is our job." Shukaku said and Jiraiya nodded before speaking.

"You kill those in charge, basically setting a revolution to finally change that village, it's needed anyways." Kiba huffed, as he spoke.

"That revolution should've been came." Gaara just rubbed Kiba's back.

"Group three job is to eliminate Danzo and kill whoever in charge of the sound village, much like group two do not be seen." Shikamaru exhaled.

"I don't mind going, but me and Neji could've completed this mission alone." Shikamaru said and there was a voice behind him.

"You both just became Chunin, a little extra backup won't hurt. I know you are anxious Shikamaru." Hiashi spoke calmly, but Shikamaru pulled away from Neji.

"I just want this to end!" Naruto and Gaara looked to Shikamaru. Shikamaru looked to his siblings and tried to calm down, remembering their talk. The Sannin knew the children well, well enough to know that they were all silently communicating with one another.

"Nara's, are you alright to take this mission?" Orochimaru asked, and the teens looked to him, noticing the looks that their demons were sending them before they both answered in same voice.

"We are fine." They said and nobody in the room, actually believed them. The seventeen year olds only sighed before going right back to their mates.

"Who are my leaders in each group?" Orochimaru asked, and the Sannin and demons shocked when they saw who stepped up, they were expecting the Nara's, they weren't expecting their mates to step up.

"Why?" Tsunade asked and Kiba spoke.

"The brothers, are clearly too attached to this. Each group is tasked with killing people who hurt them, it would make sense that anybody but them lead the group." Kiba started, and Neji spoke next.

"However, given that the brothers are hardheaded, and may we even say stubborn, not just anybody could be leaders." Sasuke nodded and then spoke.

"It would be the safest and logical option that we become leaders, the brothers listen to us because of our relationship, that is why we will take this role." Sasuke said and Orochimaru nodded.

"You all move out, it's nighttime. I would like an update if anything that changes." Orochimaru said and everybody turned to leave until Matsu spoke.

"Children." Naruto, Shikamaru and Gaara stopped, their mates turned around before they sported a fake smile.

"Wait for us at the gates." They nodded before the door closed, and Naruto placed a seal. They all turned around, and they stood still as they saw the gazes of their demons.

"How far?" Shukaku asked, and the Sannin looked confused for a little before they all looked down at the floor.

"Foxy, how far?" Naruto bit his lip because they fucked up, they went through a heat and didn't realize until literally a week ago.

"Shikamaru, we don't have anywhere to be. You three do." Gaara stomped his foot, folding his arms tears streaming down his face.

"Two months, are you six happy!" Gaara's foot broke through the floor, they stood there shocked.

"We got carried away, and we aren't as close to our mates because we are scared, I'm having more nightmares, Naruto isn't sleeping, and Shikamaru his locking himself in the bathroom." Gaara finished.

"We can see the hurt in their faces, they way we are just closed off, the way they want to worry about us, but we are the reason our mates look so sad." Shikamaru said and Naruto exhaled.

"We are afraid they'll leave when we tell them." Naruto said and then Gaara pulled his foot out the floor.

"We will be leaving now." Gaara said walking out, wiping his tears before walking out the door. They stood at the bottom of the tower, and watched as their mates stood there. Sasuke held out his hand, and Naruto fell into his arms.

"You can tell me when you are ready, you ready to leave?" Sasuke asked, Naruto looked up to Sasuke and exhaled.

"Thanks, let's leave now." Naruto leaned to kiss Sasuke on his lips, Sasuke gave a smile as he pulled away, leading his wife to their team.

"Gaara." Kiba held out his hand, Gaara took it and kissed his cheek.

"Let's get this over with, Kiba." Gaara said and Kiba nodded kissing Gaara's forehead. They left while Neji wasn't as understanding.

"You three are going through the same thing, like you all were going through a heat." Shikamaru nodded not wanting to speak.

"Let's complete this mission, I want to sleep." Shikamaru tosses his arm around Neji's torso, Neji only nodded and walked to their gate.
