CHAPTER 9: MY-THANK-YOU GIFT.

I rushed this chapter for you guys. It's not perfect yet like chapter 7 because I have lot's of work to do. But i'll be working on it after I have cleared out my schedule and I will just informed you if i've rendered anything... oh!! vote or comment or fan me if you like the story/chapter XXXDDD

I don't think i'll be updating soon... maybe i'll be out for 4 days... wish me luck for my upcoming college entarnce test in my dream university!!

CHAPTER 9: MY-THANK-YOU GIFT.

Wow, he helped me. I wonder what has gotten into him, helping me out like that. He comes just in the right time. Anyway, I got to thank him even if he’s annoying at all times.

What should I give him? I have no experience in this stuff at all. Maggie? I got to call her. She’s always a goodie-two-shoe so she’ll be able to help out.

I grab the phone and dialed her number. She picked up immediately and says things… and then she said she misses me and sobs.

Wow, I didn’t know she really cares for me. I miss her too, but I didn’t say that. I just swallowed my whole pride just to say something not in my dictionary yesterday so I won’t utter it. Then after a repartee I finally got to the point. I asked her what you should do to thank someone who has done something good for you.

“Hmmnn. That’s easy; all you got to do is…” She paused “wait a second? For a very weird circumstance that I know nothing about, are you Miranda, gonna thanks someone?”

“Uh…er…Yeah!” I respond shyly. I heard a blistering laughter; it hurts my ears so I pulled It away for me for a moment. I wait for her to compose herself, but it seems as though she wouldn’t. I’m an impatient person so I turned the phone off, but before that, I say “Thanks…Maggie…you’re a really great help.”

When I put the phone down, I noticed that I’m going to be late. So, I get going and prepare myself for school.

I walk along the hallways of my ginormous school still thinking about a way to repay him, when a junior came to me.

“Wow, you’re really cute.” He says. “…and you’re popular and cool too. ”

I looked at him bedazzled. I wonder why he’s talking to me and what is he talking about. Then, he touched my chin and comes near me. I think he will kiss me right here in the hallway.

I can’t beat the guy down to death or else, who knows what kind of punishment the school has for trouble-making students, and I’m not interested to find out.

I don’t know what to do. He’s got me cornered into a wall, help anyone? Everyone in the hallway seems to be enjoying the view.

Great. Now, I’ve become their live entertainment now.

Then as I close my eyes, he backed off. I wonder why?

I opened my eyes and have seen Ares holding the juniors’ hand. Then he muttered

“Don’t touch her just because she’s cute.” The audience gasps and murmurs and some girls are kind of giggly about it.

The guy just shrugs and walks away like nothing happened.

Now, there are a lot giggling now. What’s up with them?

Today, I just become the most pathetic creature in history. Following the moron all around like that. I never thought that classes would be my savior.

Now, were having cooking class and we’re making cookies. I’m not much of a cook but I got to say, I’m impressed with the cookies I’ve made. It’s my first time to cook ever. At Lilian High, they also got classes like this, but I always skip class so I didn’t learn how to.

My first batch of cookies were a disaster and looks like poop but the second batch now, looks decent enough and quite yummy.

The teacher say’s something that I don’t care about then my brain hatched a good idea when she said that cookies are good presents. So, I think I’m gonna give this to Ares as a way of thank you.

Its lunch now and I look for him. Usually he’s the one looking for me to order me around but I wonder what keep him occupied now.

On my search for him, Jeanne, Steph., and Aya talked to me and have some chit-chat. Now, I know who the junior guy is. He’s one of the most popular kids in school.

Now, I know why everyone’s afraid to help me out. Well, whatever.

After looking at him for what seems like forever… I decided to quit. I’m going to go the paddock and rest for a while.

When I reach the place, I’ve seen Ares. FINALLY. But he seems to be with someone, I peep a little, and have seen that he’s with Victoria King. The Barbie girl.

They’re KISSING. Gross.

What the hell is he doing? I’ve been looking for him all this time while he just goes here and kiss someone?

So much for my thank-you gift.
