I get up and get dressed as fast as I can. Cause I know that Kai is fast. I brush my teeth and Kai comes in. "Hmm. I was hoping I'd get a kiss." Pfft. Idiot. But since I'm his 'pet' I kinda have to do what he says. I finish brushing my teeth and rinse my mouth out. Kai grabs me. And pins me to the wall. He has to enjoy doing that. Kai kisses me. He was being so gentle. I got the sharp pain. I think Kai felt it too. He stops kissing me. I fall. I gasp for some air. And Kai helps me up. I look at the ground. "What is that? Why do I get that pain?" He starts to walk away. "I'm not sure. We will see what causes it after school." Right. School. We walk down stairs and head out the door. Guess we are walking. "So I though vampires couldn't go in the sun...?" He smiles. "Myth. That's stupid." Yea it kinda was. "Hmm you aren't pale either..." He made the 'oh my gosh this child is stupid.' Face. "Myth...." wait....his eyes were brown now. "And your eyes. I thought they were naturally red. And how are they brown now?" He looks at me. "No....My eyes only turn red when I lose control. The natural eye color for vampires is yellow. And I can change my eye color. If I think of a color I want my eyes to be. They change." That's cool. We arrive at the school and I look up. Great. "Thinking?" I look at Kai. "Yea...." We wall in the building and I hear the intercom say "Meranda Martenez and Kai.......Come to my office..." But then I realize something "Why didn't they say your last name?" We start walking to the office. "I think my father told them not to." Well that explains it. We get to the office. And I knock on the door. "Come in-" We walk in the office. And shut the door behind us. I look at Kai. The principal walks to us. "I heard about what is going on. Meranda. I want you to give Kai a tour. A actual one this time." Haha.....Last time didn't go so well... "Y-yes s-sir.!" The principal looks directly at me. Kai can tell I'm scared.. Kai reaches out and holds my hand. "Go. You are excused for as many periods as it takes to show him around the whole school." Oh thank goodness. I try and rush out of the office. Kai following. Once we get out the hallways are clear. "What was wrong in there?" I try and ignore his question. But that just made him angry. "Meranda. You know how I am. If you don't answer me you will regret it." We walk to a door that leads to the backyard. "Here is the backyard.....I go out here to eat. Most of the time you are allowed here between classes." Kai still seems upset. A few hours later......once we finish the tour....Kai still is frustrated that I didn't answer him. "The principal said we were in all the same classes.....it's..9:27.....sooo we should be in 3rd period. English....." Kai looks at me. "Wow. How do you remember that?" Honestly I'm not sure. "I don't know. But English is upstairs." As we walk to class we talk. I manage to cheer Kai up. We stop infront of the door and he says "you are getting a punishment later for not answering me." Great......what is it gonna be this time?
